  If you're price, you have to at least go to the ump and have them see what's on kimbrel's hat. I don't think pine tar should be illegal. But it's the rule and he certainly has something on it

  Where did that come from? Was it mentioned? That's one thing I don't pay attention to.

  He was off the base by just how much Billy Hatcher said, but got there after he caught the throw with his foot in contact with the bag. First baseman have gotten tremendously better on that play in the last few years.

  Don't think the TV guys said anything but beat writers and tons of people on twitter saw it. Will be interesting to see if it gets asked to price, hopefully only in private and if kimbrel has it on there next time out. Could be something else but went back and watched and he went to it before almost every pitch.
