Ironman92Homer vs Wandy
-
sherm03Buccos coming in after getting swept.
Let's hope Homer has his usual Pirate-killing stuff tonight.
I think Heisey earned a start in LF after his grand slam last night. -

Heisey has 3 HRs in just 23 ABs vs Wandy, so you may be right. Although Ludwick is pretty good vs Wandy too. We may see Heisey in CF.sherm03;1604817 wrote: I think Heisey earned a start in LF after his grand slam last night. -

Or, as we like to call it, reverting back to "at Milwaukee" form.sherm03;1604817 wrote:Buccos coming in after getting swept. -

In your defense, Milwaukee has been the best team in baseball to start the season. Which is slightly annoying since the division was already tough enough with the pirates reds and cards.Heretic;1604825 wrote:Or, as we like to call it, reverting back to "at Milwaukee" form.
Thank god for the cubs I guess -

I don't think there's anyway Milwaukee keeps this up. Eventually they will come back down to earth.SportsAndLady;1604828 wrote:In your defense, Milwaukee has been the best team in baseball to start the season. I mean they've won 9 in a row so probably not lol. I do think they'll finish over .500 though, which is better than what most thought they'd be.sherm03;1604830 wrote:I don't think there's anyway Milwaukee keeps this up. Eventually they will come back down to earth.
Basically what I'm saying is, this division has potential to be the best in baseball this year. 4 legit playoff teams (if the reds decide to pull their heads out of their anal cavities, that is). -

Very true. From the few publications I read as far as previews go, they all tended to be pretty similar in the division with: 1. Cards 2/3 Reds/Pirates (different order depending on publication) 4. Brewers 5. LOLCubsSportsAndLady;1604828 wrote:In your defense, Milwaukee has been the best team in baseball to start the season. Brewers are definitely overachieving, mainly because their pitching, which was expected to be their weak link, has started out amazing.
Worrisome thing for me is that a few of the pitchers who were great for us last year seem to have fallen down to earth a bit, like Liriano, Melancon and Gomez, off the top of my head. And Pittsburgh doesn't have the offense to handle too much pitching regression. -
Ironman92Same lineup.
-
RotinajLike I said in the previous game thread, we used up our weekly run limit yesterday. Reds lose 1-0.
-
Mooney44CardsShould've at least flip flopped Frazier and Meso in the order.

friendfromlowryHad tickets for the game but we decided to skip since there was suppose to be a 60-70 chance of rain all evening. I just checked and now there's a 15-30% chance. Fucking idiot weathermen. Oh well, I had to sit through their garbage game on Saturday in person and then watch them play their best game of the season a day later on TV. I'm not going again until they consistently not suck.
