Here I thought we got rid of Chris Perez.

Didn't appear it would have been an obvious overturn.

So? lot of good saving that challenge did. Now if it was innings 1-8, yeah, I would say definitely don't challenge. but there are only so many things you can challenge and when you are down to 3 outs, I would say a challenge that can give you an out and clear the bases would be huge.

the other day he challenged Morgan getting picked off of 1st, which I thought could have been a waste because it was in the 1st inning. it worked out and they rallied for several runs. but its the 9th inning, gotten loosen it up a bit with what you will challenge.

How much could our staff use those guys right now?

Ubaldo should be sending Mickey Callaway part of his paycheck right now as he totally turned his career around and appears to be dying without him.
Badly. The Indians could use them very badly.

It wasn't about saving the challnege as much as knowing it was a waste of time. Nothing would have come from it.

30 seconds of time that could have changed the game would have been worth it.

I would bet that he believed it wouldn't have changed the game or he would have challenged.

    B) Why didn't they walk one of the hottest hitters in the league?
Pretty sure you can only challenge the first 6 or 7 innings. After that, replay is only on the umpires. And, its been stated they likely will only replay their own calls on fair/foul and HR/not HR.

Way to early to say that. We have 4 solid starters, despite everyone overreacting to slow starts from them. I could overreact and say we have 2 ACES with McCallister and Bauer lol.
