2014 SuperBowl Thread Seahawks v. Broncos

TiernanPretty much unfolded just like I said it would. Comical to see Manning acting like the game is still winnable at 43-8. Just bag it Denver.
-
IggyPride00What a career turn around for Pete Carroll.
He had 2 pedestrian stints as an NFL head coach, and at the age of 50 he was the 4th choice of USC in 2001 when he took over.
Now he has a National Title and a Super Bowl, and with a young roster could be adding more to his collection before he hangs it up. -
TiernanToo bad a douche like Percy Harvin gets a ring.

Lol? What has Harvin ever done? Went to Florida and ran train on Ohio State?Tiernan;1575600 wrote:Too bad a douche like Percy Harvin gets a ring.
The really shitty thing is Carroll gets a ring. No problem with the Seattle players, really. -
TiernanBy early next week a lot of Somalian kids will be wearing Denver SuperBowl championship gear.

I admit I was wrong on most of this comment, but was not far off from the final score. LOLwghfan;1571504 wrote:Manning is going to get frostbite, in this one. Seahawks win 44-5. Sherman picks Manning 3 times. Sherman Super Bowl MVP. BTW, in Sherman's post game interview, he tells Manning to stick his Omaha shit up his ass. -
Ironman92Maybe they didn't need him to beat SF or Denver, but Harvin definitely brings more to the Seahawks.

Scary to think they traded their #1 pick for him and proceeded to get essentially nothing from him all year because he was hurt and yet still marched on to win the Super Bowl.Ironman92;1575606 wrote:Maybe they didn't need him to beat SF or Denver, but Harvin definitely brings more to the Seahawks.
They have a 2 year window here to keep the team relatively together before they have to pay Russell Wilson one of those mega deals that kills the cap. -
se-alumYea, I actually kinda like the Seahawks, but I don't know how anyone can ever like Pete Carroll.

I actually can see Wilson not wanting a huge deal to make sure the team stays in tact. He's just that type of guyIggyPride00;1575611 wrote:Scary to think they traded their #1 pick for him and proceeded to get essentially nothing from him all year because he was hurt and yet still marched on to win the Super Bowl.

This can't be serious. You go for the money, because it could all be over after 1 play.Crimson streak;1575619 wrote:I actually can see Wilson not wanting a huge deal to make sure the team stays in tact. He's just that type of guy -

burden of proof is on you, bitch boy.Stats are in my favor.like_that;1575590 wrote:+1 he is an idiot. The same guy that faps and goes out of his way to defend romo is trying to diss manning by saying he is only a good regular season QB... Excuse me while I LMAO.
And I've never claimed Romo is as good as the top tier QBs. -
AutomatikIn for stats...

friendfromlowryLol, a thread dominated by Tiernan and ccrunner. Glad I didn't bother checking into it during the game.

He had a couple solid playoff games en route to the superbowl. That doesn't count, though?Pick6;1575556 wrote:I don't want to see creaming over Peyton Manning ever again on this forum. Told y'all at the beginning of the season..best regular season QB ever..that's it -

Been to 3, won 1.....but lets just forget about that.friendfromlowry;1575640 wrote:He had a couple solid playoff games en route to the superbowl. That doesn't count, though? -
friendfromlowryEither way, the Manning legacy debate is dumb. Literally arguing over whether he's really, really great. Or just really great.

Fly4FunSo who all watched the whole game or stopped after a certain point? I stopped watching after the 2nd half KO return for a TD. At that point the game was over and it wasn't very compelling/competitive.
I know it's the last game of the football season... but it just wasn't very entertaining. -
