There are actually some instances (like the one I mentioned) where it is still, unfortunately necessary.

I thought this was just sports related, but if not, I would also like to add thug little POS fuckers who steal packages from my front door. I am hoping one day i catch one of these fuckers in the act.

Ordered a TV from Wal-Mart.com... no brown packaging. It was the TV package, sitting on my front step, in the rain. Now, the rain part is FedEx fault, as they didn't put plastic, but the TV box just sitting on my front step? Come on, Wal-Mart!

Yeah...my fail, but that's the first thing I thought of this time of year. A couple winters ago an 84 year old grandpa (local) went to the bank to get his Christmas Club money to give for gifts to his kids and grandkids and a POS pill head followed him, beat him badly and stole $1,100.

No one should be messed with but those that attack young children and elderly people really bother me.

This. Every team has thugs and criminals.

Fans of some dogshit high school proclaiming that every one of their kids is home grown. Why be proud that your community is so terrible that no one has moved there in a generation?

Ya talking about Trimble and that was the reason why they cannot compete with Marion Local?
As if Marion Local has kids transferring in!

Didn't have one specific example in mind. Personally, I was happy that I lived in communities that "outsiders" sought out as a place to live.

Not to defend the people that you are bashing, but I think what the meant was having a team full of kids that were born and raised in the community instead of a place where kids transfer in and boost their sports teams, such as private schools or open enrollment places that get kids moving in all the time.

Of which Marion Local is neither. For whatever reason, schools in this area dont have many athletes that open enroll to other schools. Many do but dont play sports. Same kids who are on the JH team are the same ones, less those who quit, that are on the team as a senior.
It is almost like kids are too proud to transfer to a neighboring town and abandon their friends/teammates just for a better shot at team success.
I know on the trimble/ml game someone mentioned how at last trimble had home grown players and insinuating ML didnt!

    but anyways.......

My nomination would be those fools who leave family functions on thanksgiving to go fucking shopping.

Athletes holding out of a contract they signed because they think they deserve more money. You signed the contract, you honor it.

And double this if they enter T.O. mode and give some bitch-ass "gotta feed my family" line as to why they want more money.

"Fans" who don't root for a team, just against one or more. I've never met one of these who wasn't also a loathsome human being IRL.

I was thinking of the clown with the bad photoshop job of the word "overrated" on the tOSU logo. AFAIK, he doesn't appear to actually be for anyone, just against the Bucks.

Yes, these people are the worst. Insufferable fucks.

Tiernan's like a similar-but-different version of that. He roots for Ohio State, but seems to more or less root for the concept of the university's teams because he seems to detest virtually everyone who has been associated with the program in any major way.

What if your family lives closer to Pittsburgh rather than Cinci or Cleveland? That's why I'm a Pens/Pirates/Steelers fan and OSU of course. Still a bandwagoner to you though.

Yeah, he is a douche too, and I am not even an OSU fan.

Im basing this off Tiernan's approach to professional sports. NBA= everyone is a thugger. As for the NFL, he has yet to tell us who he "supports." The only thing he has given us is he hates the thugger ray lewis, and he hates the browns for whatever reason, but he sure entertains himself by making up bets with himself. Capone was a dumb ass, but at least we all knew he was a pitt supporter. Tiernan can simply can go fuck himself. I speak on behalf of his children too, since he is a dead beat.

Milk tkae it a step further and include all hs sports. Unless you have a sibling, kid, niece/nephew or grand kid...it's time to move on from the "glory days".

All the Ohio wrestlers who place at state in one of three divisions with 14 weight classes and then ignorantly believe their sport is most difficult.

Huh? I don't think any Ohio wrestler is arguing their sport is most difficult based on the format the OHSAA provides for them. They argue the sport itself is most difficult. You don't need to be a state placer to argue that.
