Indianapolis Colts @ Cincinnati Bengals - Three Seed Bowl

  • Azubuike24
Both are 8-4, the winner basically holds a 2-game lead with 3 to play on the third seed in the AFC playoffs. Why is this important?

    1. You avoid going to Denver until the AFC Championship.
    2. You play a .500 or sub .500 team in the wild card round.

Barring a major collapse, both of these teams are in the playoffs. However, this is a pretty big game regardless.

Well, the Bengals are only 1 back of New England, and hold the tiebreaker.

    vs CLE
    @ MIA
    @ BAL
    vs BUF

NE should go at-worst 2-2, likely 3-1. Now, say they go 2-2, Cincy could go 3-1 and end up clinching the #2 seed and a bye since they beat NE.

So, the Bengals may have some incentive in week 17 after all, even if the AFC North is wrapped up. Of course, that's all contingent on them beating Indy, because it's clear NE won't lose to Cleveland.

Look for the bengals to win. Luck has been struggling since Wayne has been out, or Richardson piles up 160+ and runs all over them and leave browns fans wondering why he fucking didnt do that when he was with them

This weather will make this game entertaining! I love watching football in the snow.

Luck has been pedestrian without Wayne.....Colts D-line could be a bitch though in this snow.

6+ turnovers would not surprise me too much

Dalton looking like Montana early. 7-0

Shouldn't that have been a catch? Greens toes came down in bounds first.

Cats, thats what I thought as well. The toe was in, then the heel came down out. The announcers acted like it wasnt a catch, so I dont know. That muffed punt helped with field position though.

    Yeah.

I mean you see that kind of play all the time. I don't know how that wasn't a catch.

He immediately started to fall when he was touched.
