Week 9: Cleveland browns BYE. Bowe vs Gordon subthread

  • SportsAndLady
Browns go into the bye at 4-5. Doesn't look great on paper but the AFC north leaders, Cincinnati, are 6-4 so definitely within range of keeping it interesting the rest of the way.

Obviously need to keep Campbell healthy. Aka chud needs to implement some QB slide practices to avoid 350 pound men falling on him.

The D-line depth on this team is absolutely amazing. Armani Bryant with 2 sacks yesterday and he's like the 6th best pash rusher we have. I love that every game it seems a different person steps up from the D-line. All of those picks finally coming through for us.

If the Browns can get help next week against Cincinnati, that game coming out of the bye could be very interesting.....

Hopefully, with the long layoff they go out and find a backup QB. It actually might not be a bad time to release Weeden if they can find anyone who can get up to speed with the offense in 2 weeks. I'm skeptical there's anyone out there suitable but now I cringe every time I see Weeden in there. It's like he has more lives than a cat with all of the chances he keeps getting. Better to just move on...

Not that I'm interested but I heard Matt Flynn, who just got released, this morning on the radio.

Jason Campbell is 20th #Browns starting QB since 1999 & the 4th one during that span to win AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

I don't know if this is voted by the peers, coaches or what but if it's a "fan" vote, I could see this. Browns' fans DID vote Peyton Hillis' on to the Madden cover.

Haha and that really helped his career, out of the NFL 3 seasons later until the past 2 weeks.

Yeah not sure how he beat out Andre Johnson

Watching Dan Patrick the last few days and they've had people come on to say that the Packers may want him back since he knows the system.

lol, Irvin is terrible. Guys like him and Sanders is the main reason i don't even watch pregame or halftime shows anymore.

That and Ray Lewis. This past week he was talking about player conduct. Really dude? You killed a guy.

Shannon Sharpe is one of the reasons I don't watch. Between his "Mushmouth" from Fat Albert "speak" and his Ravens homerism, I wanna puke.

Did you see the SNL skit of him. Shit was so funny.

So I'm struggling this week with Gordon and Cameron being on a bye for my fantasy squad. I've been trying to trade both of them for 4 weeks, and no one wants them. You'd think that I could find SOMEONE, but alas...

lol'd pretty hard just now. Watching the Eagles/Packers game, there was a 50 yard catch by Boykin, and it was clearly not a catch but the Eagles didn't challenge it.

Guess who is in charge of that for the Eagles?

    Pat Shurmur

    LOL
