NVM, I see what you said.Laley23;1673069 wrote:Went home dogs across the board (except Atlanta/TB).
Still, should've bet Peyton. You knew it deep down. -

I did put money down before I saw that 3/4 top CBs for Oakland were out lol.DeyDurkie5;1673070 wrote:NVM, I see what you said.

Either way, Im glad I did it, cause I ended up going ML on Jets and also parlayed the Jets (spread) with Browns (ML) and GB (spread). Had I not just said I will take home dogs, I probably wouldve scared myself out of the Jets, and thus, the big parlay hit as well. -

I put $10 on this just for you Durkie.DeyDurkie5;1673068 wrote:Also, durkie's 3 team parlay lock of the night...

TBone14I've got the Hawks, Cavs and Clips on the hardwood for tonight.
Eagles to finish a teaser.
Putting more on the Eagles -7 and the Eagles team total over 28. Last 3 Panther road games they have given up 38 to Green Bay, 37 to Cincy and 38 to Baltimore. 1-2 ATS in those games and all 3 over the total. They have had trouble moving it the last 3 weeks vs NO, Seattle and Green Bay. I expect Sanchez to be as good or even better than Foles. Foles came out of nowhere and turned into an All-Pro as a QB who wasn't highly touted coming out (3rd round pick). Sanchez went to conference championship games his first 2 seasons (riding the defense) and his 3rd year he threw for 3400+ yards, 26 TDs and 18 INTs. He added 6 rushing TDS that season.
This system is perfect for him. Quick, easy reads. Get the ball out of his hands. He is much more athletic running than Foles. 12 career rushing TDS. I think the line is short given the Eagles QB situation. If Foles wasn't hurt, the line would easily be 10+. Good value here on Philly at home. -
Laley23You guys have a LOT more faith in Mark Sanchez than I do lol.

I'm with you man. I have no faith in him lol.Laley23;1673146 wrote:You guys have a LOT more faith in Mark Sanchez than I do lol.
In my pigskin pickem league with friends there is 1 dude in first for the week and then 6 of us all tied for 2nd for the week. 1st place each week gets 18 bucks and 2nd gets 6. Tiebreaker is closest to points scored in the Monday Night game so should be interesting tonight haha.If I didn't only have a 2 game lead on overall picks for the year (to my wife) and a 5 game lead on the 3rd place team I'd take the Panthers tonight. Most correct games picked total for the season will win you $102. So I'm just trying to hold on to that and not making risky picks (I have the last 3 weeks and it's killed me) lol. -

I happened to catch multiple preseason games (means absolutely nothing) of the Eagles and was a bit blown away by how incredible he looked. Again, meaningless preseason games from 3 months ago but it looked like he knew where to do with the ball and he was dropping dimes left and right. He was beyond serviceable coming off the bench last week on the road vs the Texans. With a full week of 1st team reps and being ready to play in a solid matchup vs the Panthers...I think he has a good game.Laley23;1673146 wrote:You guys have a LOT more faith in Mark Sanchez than I do lol.
The talent is there. You don't go #5 overall if it isn't. I think Chipper's systems is a QBs dream. I don't think he is a falloff from Foles at all. -
Laley23For the record, lots of guys who break down every play/throw said Mark actually didn't at that well and there was a huge drop off. Apparently, he was saved with a few throws that turned into TDs, but the numbers last week were misleading.
We shall see I guess. -

I'm not trying to say Sanchez is the next coming of Brees, Rodgers, Luck or Jesus Christ himself. I'm just saying that in that system...he can be Nick Foles.Laley23;1673189 wrote:For the record, lots of guys who break down every play/throw said Mark actually didn't at that well and there was a huge drop off. Should've went more turtles. I've been on fire the last month with telling my friends what to pick. Pretty sure one of the few I missed was the one I posted on this threadIliketurtles;1673088 wrote:I put $10 on this just for you Durkie. -

Lol I had it as $20 originally since I knew that's what you always did but honestly I don't like the Bulls or Clippers to cover so I dropped it to 10.DeyDurkie5;1673210 wrote:Should've went more turtles. I wonder what Moneymaker would've paid out had you bet him to win it all when he did?Iliketurtles;1673243 wrote:Since I'm also watching it... I have $5 on Andoni Larrabe at +700 to win the WSOP. -
SportsAndLady5 to win 150 if Newton scores two rushing TDs. Thought they were gonna QB sneak it there at the 1 haha

It was 2003 when Moneymaker won. I wasn't even playing online poker yet. Although that next year I started mostly because I was finally 18 and because of him haha. But speaking of moneymaker I fucking miss pokerstars. That was the best online poker site.DeyDurkie5;1673251 wrote:I'm sure you were able to bet it back then. Wasn't that far ago. -
