Peterson

However, this was a really bad fumble, and he has had a couple like this. Certainly not his fault alone they lost the game, but you just can't fumble inside the opposing teams 40 in overtime when the ability to control your own destiny for a playoff bye was on the line.

They fought so hard to come back, that I think had they pulled it out there season goes a totally different direction than now as they are most likely not going to get the bye, they have no momentum as a team, and their coach is a retard who doesn't understand that Favre should be allowed to call whatever plays he wants at the line if he sees something. I think they are pretty much sunk right now as their special teams are awful and the defense looks just as bad.

Childress needs to realize his way of running the offense is just too stagnant and hasn't been working. They were at their best this season when they were spreading people out and Favre was doing what he wanted at the line of scrimmage disregarding playcalls. Favre got Childress his contract extension and was a large part of the reason they started 10-1, to try and reign him in as he has been doing is dumb. The second half tonight when they opened it up and free wheeled alot more should tell him all he needs to know about who's way works better.

Spread the offense out, let Favre audible out of playcalls if he wants, and at least try and go down swinging because the handcuff approach is a first class ticket home from the opening round of the playoffs.

He's still the best player in the National Football League, the only thing changed from now and last year is the gap between him and Chris Johnson is smaller, and that's only because of how much better CJ has gotten, now how worse AP has gotten.
I'm a big Vikings fan and I can tell you, Adrian Peterson is great but the fumbles and a tendency to drop passes keep him from being the best player in the NFL.

The fact that he doesn't know when to protect the ball instead of fighting for extra yardage
This^^^ All he had to do was go out of bounds.

Yet AP is criticized for a few fumbles?
A few? 6 is alot for a RB

    And 15 isn't for a QB?

Look, nobody is saying AP is the perfect player. No one is the perfect player...for example, Manning is about as perfect as it gets as a QB, but he still has thrown 15 picks. Everyone has their flaws.

He/you already answered your question. They are throwing it more. Hence Peterson gets less touches.
Um, Peterson has 305 rushes this season. After his 16th game he will only be short probably 25-30 rushes from the most he's ever had in a season. So big deal, he gets under 2 less carries a game. So, see, with a better QB, teams have to concentrate on a good passing/running team, instead of just a good running team.

Manning is the best player in the league and AP is barely the best RB. CJ either has him or almost has him, with the difference being team record, handing the edge to AP.

He has rare talents, but he has to hold onto that ball. I've seen peewee kids hold the ball like a loaf of bread. I don't expect arguably the NFL's best RB to do it.
