White Sox @ Tribe (Series Thread)

I hope he says something tonight and gets demoted for it. Guy is trash.

    Unreal.

    Unreal.

The crowd letting Perez hear it as well. He would be getting destroyed on Twitter if he still had it.

Lol...I love our sparse crowd. Fuck that guy

It's the bottom of the lineup. No excuses. Cut him tomorrow

Wasn't he turned on like 2 years ago?

Yep. Leyland got rid of Valverde as the closer at the end of last year in crunch time. Its time for Tito to do the same with Perez.

I wish we traded him 2 years ago when we had the chance.

    F-U Little!

    F-U Perez!

    F-U Francona!

Kind of felt bad for him there. There are certainly worse closers out there but he has done all this to himself by being just a total asshole in his years here.

Wow. Dagger loss if the offense can't come through and save it.

    Carrasco should be the closer.

This team always bounces back, but how many times can they pick him up? He is middle of the road and in high pressure situations...he is a mental vagina.

Perez is now in the clubhouse rooting for the Astros.

What they need to do is piss-test him to see if he has been getting into his doggie's stash before the game.

F him. He asked for all of this. He is a total douche bag, leaves the locker room to make his teammates talk to the media about his mess. He is a joke. And you can't give up homeruns to the 7th and 9th hitters!!! If you're Terry, how do you let him go in again during the next 5 games?
  • wes_mantooth
Honestly...no idea how we are here with how bad pestano was and how awful Perez is. Says a lot about the team and their toughness

7th and 9th hitters on one of the worst teams in the league.

And Texas is up 3-2. This is my nightmare

Hopefully they have another one in them tonight.

He can't. Perez has been nothing but controversial during his time as an Indian and this latest adventure (during a big drive for the playoffs) should earn him an unconditional release. I'll say this about him though: He started up in the STL organization and they weren't happy when he was traded to Cleveland. Between his mouth, his recreational habits and his pitching, he'd be lucky to be in Memphis if he were still out here.

Damn...flat out awful at bat by gomes
  • stlouiedipalma
Just think, somewhere Jose Mesa is feeling like he just got off the hook.

Chris Perez's 7 HR allowed in save opportunities are the most of any closer in MLB. But No. 6 & 7 weren't homers. They were daggers
