-
SportsAndLadyGoing for the sweep.
3 different thread starters for this series. -
wildcats20Gotta keep the thread title the same though lol
-
wildcats20Choo LF
BP 2B
Votto 1B
Bruce RF
Ludwick DH
Frazier 3B
Cozart SS
Mesoraco C
Hamilton CF -
Azubuike24Saw that on Twitter that B-Ham starting. That's great.
-
Azubuike24BTW, normally I'm superstitious about the thread titles and what not, but it's the Astros. All superstition impact is gone. If you don't win, you should leave the sport.

wildcats20Billy! First major league hit and it's an easy double. Scores basically walking in on the Chop single.
-
RotinajB Ham w a nice double in his first AB.
-
mhs95_06Secondary lead-off man does his job leading off with a double(1st MLB hit) in his first AB, and the primary lead-off man does his job for the 2nd straight time up with an RBI hit, and the Reds lead 3-0. That is why I don't like the P batting 9th.

Except against the team with 100 loses for the 3rd straight year.SportsAndLady;1503340 wrote:Cant hit -
mhs95_06Reds won't win 97 this year because they didn't get to play the LAstros nearly as many times in 2013!
-
mhs95_06The 3B bag robbed Billy of his 3rd straight double! But a single and a big two out RBI it is, to double the lead to 4-2.
-
wildcats20Jesus H Christ.
That ball was fucking beat though. -
Azubuike24Hamilton can't hit.
I've watched this game tonight and I'm pretty sure I've seen him get more hits in the last 2 hours than Jack Hannahan ever has... -

I wonder if SE will be on tonight to tell us that he's seen Billy Hamilton's stats in AAA and that he can't hit right now in the Majors. -
Azubuike24Phillips, Votto and Bruce all try to HR. All fly out.

I know people will say it's foolish, but I honestly can see Hamilton being a guy who does better in the MLB than the minors. He's going to see a lot more straight up defenses and have a lot more opportunities to pick his spots to steal. Sure, he needs to improve his eye, his contact and his defense, but those are all things he can do while getting PT in the majors.SportsAndLady;1503447 wrote:Lol, this.

It's absolutely shocking that anyone would argue against him getting reps right now at the MLB level. The guy has played 9 games now and has done EVERYTHING right. -
RotinajPirates and Nats both lose and the Cards winning so far in a close game. Perfect opportunity to lose to the Astros!!!

wildcats20F that, but it's the right call. BP was in the grass, wasn't even close.

Azubuike24Phillips = another idiotic decision may cost the team a run.

SportsAndLadyY the hell would votto not let BH steal 3rd

The pro teams I love (Reds and Bengals) are full of star players who make dumb decisions.SportsAndLady;1503478 wrote:Y the hell would votto not let BH steal 3rd
