Week 1: Dolphins @ Browns
-
GoChiefsWeeden was the least of Cleveland's problems today.
-
MulvaJust saw that the Indians got shut down by Dice-K today. What a Sunday in Cleveland sports.

Geno is garbage, now ej Manuel on the other hand I would love to have. I wanted him from the beginning. I'd love for somehow we could get teddy bridgewater I've been on his bandwagon since the beginning of last year he has stud written all over him. -
RotinajMiami looks like they have a very good D but the O was awful nonetheless. I didn't expect huge things from the O, no point in getting overly pissed about game 1.

Tigerfan00Honest question here, Did the Browns look this bad in any game last season?
-
GoChiefsYes.

You srs? -

I guess I shouldve added against an opponent who was also bad.like_that;1497456 wrote:You srs? -
MulvaThe only 2 that were this bad last year were Eagles and Broncos.

Honestly, O'Neill Cousins was a HUGE reason our offense looked impotent. Something like 30 QB hurries, 6 sacks, 18 knockdowns... I would venture to guess 75% of those came from the right side. Cousins also has several penalties removing points from the board, one on a TD pass to Barnidge.Tigerfan00;1497452 wrote:Honest question here, Did the Browns look this bad in any game last season? -

Garbage? Did you watch the jets game today? He didn't look like Tom Brady but he def didn't look horrible.
Certainly looked a lot better than our QB. -
IggyPride00Best call I heard on the Browns post-game show about O'Neil Cousins was that he is so bad he might as well have sacked Weeden himself. I have never seen anything approaching that level of play today.
4 penalties on him alone.
Is there no one on the waiver wire that could produce better than this guy? -

You really think Weeden is the reason the Browns lost today? Oline was bad. How many drops did receivers have? Etc. I'm not saying Weeden played a good game, but he sure as hell wasn't the only reason we lost. -
Mohican00Yeah, right side of the line was awful

When did I say weeden was the reason we lost? I'm saying that "weeden is the least of our worries" is the god damn most stupid thing I've ever heard.
When your QB throws 3 picks and 1 int, it's a problem. It's a QB league and our QB sucks -

From Chud's presser.Cousins had four penalties for 33 yards, and one of them also negated an 18-yard gain.
“He’s the best we have (at right guard),” Chudzinski said to the question of why he didn’t try somebody else.
That is a direct indictment of Joe Banner and Lombardi, particularly when we all were talking about that being a weakness after last season.
To still have $28+ million in cap space and thinking he was an acceptable starter is malpractice.
Chud should be marching up to their office and asking them why they are trying to sandbag his head-coaching career before it even starts. -

Yeah banner and Lombardo clearly planned to have their two guards out.... -

Lauvo and Pinkston weren't any good last year either. That is not an excuse.like_that;1497477 wrote:Yeah banner and Lombardo clearly planned to have their two guards out.... -

They were good enough. Look like pro bowlers compared to cousins. -

So the Oline being terrible isn't a more concern than Weeden? Tom Brady wouldn't have done shit the way that line played today. Yes, they were still INT's, but weren't 2 of those 3 from deflections? -
IggyPride00
He is not a very good WR, but with such little depth at the position and Gordon out, can't afford anymore problems there heading into next week.Nate Ulrich ‏ @ NateUlrichABJ 37m # Browns WR Travis Benjamin was spotted with big wrap on his right leg in locker room after game.
Tom Withers ‏ @ twithersAP 21m
# Browns WR Travis Benjamin wasn't moving well when he left stadium. He spent long time in trainer's room getting treatment on right leg.

Laley23Someone please explain this to me.
You give the ball to Richardson 4 times for 28 yards on the opening drive. Then, you only give him the ball 13 times versus 59 passes with an O-Line that couldnt protect him all game??? All this in a game you werent really trailing in the sense you had to air it out. Makes no fucking sense at all. -
Tigerfan00Next week is going to be very ugly.
