wtf Bourn, did the sun get in your eyes? unfuckinbelievable
  • TBone14
Out to dinner and not watching but I got about 4 texts from different Tigers fans all to the tune of:

    'Bourne is drunk'
    'Bourne is on drugs'
    'RoLOL Tribe'

    What happened?
  • HitsRus
:(....well on their way to losing 4 in a row.
  • Laley23
I didn't watch. Had work. Thank God.
  • Glory Days
yeah I am out of town traveling. its better I only get angry when I see the score instead of being angry the whole time I watch the game.

They wont recover from this 4 game....I mean soon to be 6 game skid.
  • vball10set
I have never cared less about the Tribe, or baseball, than I do at this moment...GO BUCKS!!!
  • HitsRus
    no interest at all?

....down 4-1 in the 5th.:( Bourn scored on a Santana RBI single in the 1st....But Kazmir struggled in the 3rd. Just more of the same.

Have to find a way to comeback in the 9th tonight.

A loss puts them 5 games out of the Wild Card and 8.5 out of the division.

A lot of games still remain, but that is starting to get a little far away from being realistic as far as hoping to play in the post season.

I love that they are 16 games under .500 against teams with winning records....trash

They are done....thanks for getting me to football season though

Also, Matt Underwood needs to retire...he is the worst in all of baseball

None (as I keep peeking at this thread) ;)
  • Con_Alma
...and even closer to that .500 mark. :(

Good lord. I just looked at the game tracker and the Tigers explode in the bottom of hte 8th. This game is out of reach now.

On the bright side, the Tribe do really well at beating up on lesser teams and September is loaded with them.

You know this team has another 8-10 game win streak in them with the amount of times they play the Twins/Sox/Astros down the stretch.
  • Laley23
I really didnt see another late year "collapse" with this team. But, as Iggy said, they have another streak in them. Question is, can they couple 2 of them together? At this point, thats probably what it will take. Schedule is easy, and the other WC contenders have tough games...but they all have a huge lead now.
  • Glory Days
We keep Fielder in the yard....but Omar Infante is Babe Ruth...
  • HitsRus
everytime we'd score...they'd come back and score more.

While that may be true, they've pretty much proved they can't play the tough teams even. This road streak is now 0-5....

The more things change, the more things stay the same...same old Hagadone :(

Scoreless in the bottom of the 8th?

Is today finally the day the Tribe pulls one out?

Extra innings would be a win at this point.
  • Laley23
Its a shame so much time was wasted with Asdrubal and Chisenhall in the 2nd half. Aviles should/shouldve played WAY more, and Raburn, if healthy, the same.
  • Con_Alma
Pitching and timely hitting....well done. Avilles comes through big!

Is this really the first win in a week??
  • Laley23
Well, we got a win and didnt get swept?

Should I start the next series thread or does someone else want a go. We cant have too many more thread starters the rest of the way! Need to win just about every series...
  • Con_Alma
The WC is still in play. It will take better hitting than the Indians have shown over the last several weeks.

For sure. As they have been all year, we need a hot streak, both offensively, and subsequently, overall.
