Indians @ Athletics - Billy Beane was a bust as a player and looks nothing like Pitt

  • HitsRus
Now thru three innings.....Ubaldo has allowed only two base runners via the walk......Tribe up 2-0.
  • HitsRus
sigh...Druby back to bad habits....swings at first pitch out of the zone and pops up after Brantly led off with a double....

ah ok, I thought he was batting 5th.

Royals fought back against detroit and tied it. now in the 8th.

Ubaldo is playing with fire, but getting the job done.
  • Glory Days
Stubbs has looked good this series, 3 doubles already.

Josh Reddick has a great arm.

he is 1/2. yesterday he threw it into the dug out.

Lets hope Cabrera stays hot more than just this game.

    Still a great arm

    Today's game is, obviously, huge.

Ahhh the luxury of going to bed knowing that the game was a lock. Tribe adds 3 in the 9th to blow it open. Ubaldo with a no hitter that went into the 6th...and on the 103rd pitch he lost it.

Yes you read that right over 100 pitches/6th inning/no hits. For all our wishes that Tito would bench Cabrerra....well, what do we know:thumbup:

yeah...obviously. win this series....one game at a time. Kazmir vs Miltown....who is filling in for Bartolo Colon who suffered a groin injury (too many burritos)

I wish Ubaldo would do us all a favor and kill himself already...what a POS

On the Asdrubal front. When I can't watch, he does well. But not necessarily the whole team. Ie decided I'm switching the channel for his ABs the rest of the year.

I'm reading this as ..."our bats are silent and our pitching sucks."

lmao...i am just being a sarcastic dick because everyone wanted him out of the rotation for they young guy after Ubaldo had one shitty outing and the kid pitched one nice game.

???? Who wanted him out of the rotation? I don't remember anyone posting that.

Just read up on the Detroit thread...i think. People were so happy that Salazar was throwing because Ubaldo was terrible against Miami for one start.

Ubaldo has been inconsistent and inefficient all year...including yesterday. Detroit has much more experienced hitters who are much more able to pick him apart and be patient than many other teams. It's difficult to be confident with Ubaldo on the mound because of this.

That doesn't mean he should be replaced and out of the rotation. I support the decision to sit him against Detroit. I do so not based on one start against Miami.

Yeah, thank goodness he didn't start...we may have gotten swept

I appreciate the managerial effort to put what he believed was his best lineup to give himself the best chance to win. Implying that there would have been any different outcome if Ubaldo pitched is just speculation.
