    Browns win the NFL Championship!

    27-0

Little BRF was huddled around his portable radio listening to 3 TD passes from Frank Ryan to Gary Collins, with 2 Lou Groza field goals, to boot!

    So long ago.

It's good you remember that. Sad you couldn't see it....but radio can keep you on the edge of your seat as well with good radio guys.

    You are funny! :D

Ironman92: Interesting that you say that about the radio. To this day, I prefer to listen to games on the radio. I just like it.

Your comment made me do a little research as to who was the Brown's radio announcer that day.

    Gib Shanley.

Thanks for bringing up my birthday. I have always said I am the reason the Browns are cursed. I was born the day of their last NFL Championship, and I hope they win another before I make my exit. If not, then I hope it is in another 55-60 years... :)

    Happy Birthday, equus................the horseman!

YOU have the power to put your Karma to work and get us there!

It was a joy in a month of sadness for me. My mother had passed just 10 days earlier after an extended illness. My father was taking some time away. I watched the game in Miami at the airport while we waited for a flight.
  • royal_k
Jim Brown, Ernie Green, and Leroy Kelly at RB.....man that team was LOADED!!

HitsRus: I am amazed that you were able to "watch" the game back in the day!
  • HitsRus
It was televised in Miami...black and white.
