Both have sucked against playoff type teams.

    Arroyo (1-7 6.11)
    Homer (0-7 6.34)

And in these games im guessing the offense probably averages 2 runs. Tough to pitch a game knowing if you give up 3 runs its an automatic loss.

Well, unless Cueto is back, one of them is in the playoff rotation. Probably both, knowing Dusty will ***** out and not use Cingrani.

As of right now, there's a very good chance they see Atlanta in the first round, assuming they get past Pittsburgh or St. Louis.

    Uh.....6.34 ERA

Here are his starts this year against the teams over .500, blame the offense if you must.

Cardinals 7 ER in 5 inn
    Cardinals 4 ER in 5 1/3 inn
Braves 4 ER in 5 inn
    Indians 7 ER in 3 2/3 inn
Pirates 2 ER in 6 inn
    A's 4 ER in 6 inn
Braves 4 ER in 6 inn
    Pirates 3 ER in 6 1/3 inn
Dodgers 2 ER in 7 inn

These are the playoff type teams....the offense was not very good in many of these....but Homer was only very good in 1 and good in two others, but in 6 of the 9 he was not good giving up 4+ runs every time despite never going more than 6 innings.

Bailey is just an above average pitcher as of now, everyone knows that. When we lose in the playoffs it will be because the offense cant do shit against average pitching not because of HB.

As a whole Homer is above average......Homer against those teams this year is below average. Latos has been waaay better against those teams....Bronson is right there with Homer. Cingrani has yet to really battle a playoff type team....Leake hasbeen above average against those teams.

Ive been trying to find somewhere to show stats of pitchers against teams above .500 or playoff teams but haven't had any luck(don't feel like going through a shit ton individually) Im guessing most pitchers, especially #3's, have similar stats to Homer. Reps for anyone able to find what im looking for.

Latos' numbers are nearly identical and Leake's are close...Homer and Arroyo are like 6.30 era to 2.30

Just pick some #3 pitchers in your mind....go to baseball reference---players---game logs---2013

I never would've guessed the significant differences either. Seems like all of our starters are pretty damn good almost all of the time. I would've guessed their era's might've been 1 run lower vs the better teams....but not 4
