  Looks like the ump is not giving Arroyo the sinker at knees in the middle of the plate. Puig should have been out, but got a walk, and 1-0 instead of scoreless.

  And it wasn't blind hustle like we saw from Freel, but smart hustle as he has seen the aggressive style of Puig and thought he would be susceptible to that play. And I don't think Puig really rounded first very excessively and with Bruce's quick adjustment to throw a strike to 1B it was quickly over for Puig!
  
  Earlier in the game I noticed how hard and fast Meso ran to first base. Not his time, but his effort, was way above normal for MLB players. It was more like the norm you'd see in the play-offs.

  Hanley makes a very good play on Choo's bid for a lead-off hit in the 9th. Hanley also made a very good play on Votto's rocket in the 1st which would have given the Reds the key early lead and things might have played out differently. Also the Reds could have taken the early lead if Heisey's drive to CF would have been 2' higher for a HR instead of a two out triple after which he was stranded.
