    The radio guys said when Joey first came up (for his RBI AB) he stepped back and was strangely looking at the line on the inside of the batters box.

    I remember once my daughter went out to pitch in an away high school game and she was looking strangely at the rubber. When she came in after getting them out she said the it wasn't square with the plate. Another game, in mid game they figured out the rubber was too far back when the college used to be 3' further back than high school. then the question was when to make it right, and they moved it at the end of a complete inning.
