Ironman92Nice play Brown lol.....where's Tiger?

Really has no choice, no guarantee that there will be a bottom of the 9th. There probably will be, but could you imagine if the NL gets 4 runs and the AL don't score anymore? No Mo in is final All-Star game, Leyland wouldn't make it out of NYC alive.Laley23;1473572 wrote:Fuck Jim Leyland if he puts Mo in for the 8th with a lead. -
Laley23Unreal that Leyland is going to blow this.
I understand the small risk of Mo not pitching if the NL scores 4 runs here. But fucking fuck. You save him for the save. This is such an easy decision. If worse came to worst...send him out there when Nathan is blowing it for his standing ovation. -

If it isnt for a save, who gives a fuck when he comes in? And by those rules, bring him in if the lead is in jeopardy.se-alum;1473592 wrote:Really has no choice, no guarantee that there will be a bottom of the 9th. I think he waits to see what the AL does in the 8th. Idk though, but I want to see him close. Wow this performance blowsse-alum;1473592 wrote:Really has no choice, no guarantee that there will be a bottom of the 9th. This post is right on the money. What interests me the most about BP is his constant creative mind in thinking of ways to trick the opposition for his team's benefit. Sometimes it blows up in his face, and sometimes it works, but it seems he's always thinking of an angle.Ironman92;1473577 wrote:Sitting in my living room with me you wouldn't think that.....reading my stuff on here you would. I don't hate BP....but I don't like how ridiculously often he swings for the fences, his base running is unnecessarily below average.....what I hate is Thom blowing out my tv speakers when he makes a very good play that many other 2B make.....BP does have the great highlight plays that few other could make. People act like he is the only great fielding 2nd baseman (he and Cano by far have the most flair and style)...but for the most part every starting 2nd baseman is a darn good defensive player.
I'm not a hot dog fan between the lines....sorry. I do appreciate his HOF talent, but he'll never do enough to make it.
He is one of the best defensive 2nd baseman I have ever seen....but Alomar takes it for me. -

Classyposter58Maybe Leyland leaves him in for two innings?
