NHL Offseason (Trades, Draft, Etc.)
-
gorocks99Now that the season's over, we get to focus on who gets better and who gets worse.
For Columbus, priority #1 is holding off the KHL in their pursuit of Bobrovsky. Apart from that, the new leadership needs to nail the draft, with 3 first rounders (14, 19, 27) it will shape the long-term future of the franchise.
Apart from Columbus, will some of the big names move? Ryan Miller, Roberto Luongo are rumored to be on the trading block, while Nathan Horton is a FA.
Should be a lot of fun, and on the plus side, it'll be a much shorter offseason than last year -
Raw Dawgin' itJonathan Bernier to the leafs is a pretty big trade, especially since they have Reimer. Trade Reimer for top 6 D man? I would.

TedShecklerBuyouts can start tomorrow night. Look for Briere to be bought out. Will Fleury, Lecavalier, Brad Richards be bought out? Who else?

They're stupid if they take him. Jones is their biggest need and the best player in the draft. Colorado has too many young forwards as well.TedSheckler;1462557 wrote:They didn't hint. They just came out and said they're taking him.

gorocks99Alfredsson will return to Ottawa for one more year.

Classyposter58So excited for Detroit to be moving east. A far less physical conference will help out Datsyuk and Zetterberg and our other smaller puck movers. Montreal, Buffalo, Ottawa, Tampa and Florida are much softer than Nashville, Chicago and St Louis. Hopefully the Wings can get Penner and Weiss this offseason
-
gorocks99^^ Think the Wings make a play for Lecavalier? He's said he would play there.

I'd love to pair him with Zetterberg. Praying to god we get rid of Bertuzzi and Samuelsongorocks99;1465065 wrote:^^ Think the Wings make a play for Lecavalier? He's said he would play there. -
