    Gotta win this one.

Losing a series to the Brewers would be embarrassing as shit.

    Especially w/Braun on the DL.

Reds win 5-2. Votto and Bruce both homer.

Bruce with a no doubter. What a shot!

That was a fucking bomb. Don't look now, Bruce has almost caught Votto in AVG and Phillips in RBI's. A month ago I would've called you psycho if you predicted that...

Bruce has been great this year. He used to be soooo frustrating. Not anymore.

    Lutz drives in 2.

STL is getting crushed by Miami

It's very disappointing to me that we catch a break and STL will probably lose 2/3 to Miami and the Reds will only gain 1 game while playing a Braun-less Brewers team.

Precisely why I said he was having an All-Star year for a National League outfielder. Just a few hits behind Votto for the team lead as well. Knock on wood, but he's seemed to turn the corner.

Well, this Brewers offense isn't bad, at all. Their downfall has been pitching, and they got a good effort from Gallardo yesterday. Sweeps don't happen very often, so 2/3 will work every time.

.035 isn't that close in average...and while I agree he's looking to be an all-star.....he should have more hits as Votto leads the world in walks, while Bruce rarely walks.

We're more so comparing 2013 Bruce to the Bruce of old, not so much Votto. Just using Joey as a baseline as to how far Jay has come this year.

Sorry....I didn't know the rules. I need to see him get through the year without a couple ridiculous slumps and see how he adjust when the better pitchers adjust to him....but there are ample crappy pitchers for him to have a 36/114/.285
