HBO's "Hard Knocks" Picks The Cincinnati Bengals

It won't be quite the show when Ocho was there in 2009, but they did win the division that year. I'm excited & hoping to see more on how Andy & AJ will progress & it'll be good to see players like Geno Atkins & Carlos Dunlap get some exposure. I can't wait for football season!

They were probably the only team to actually accept the offer. No idea why else they'd choose the Bengals.

I agree with this. The LOLPhins last year, and Ben-gals this year? They must be hard up.

Bias aside, it's actually not too bad of a team to follow. Instead of focusing on all of the BS they did last time, you legitimately have a ton of talent, some budding superstars and an entire roster who has been good, but stuck in neutral the last few years. You have a lot of pressure on Andy Dalton and the defense.

Basically, if they stick to the football storylines, it's a pretty good team to follow.

Yeah, I read somewhere that most teams don't want any part of it.

Good to see that the Bengals will be getting their moment of glory for 2013 out of the way early this year!

What I took away from the 1st episode:

Tyler Eifert & Gio Bernard are just more weapons for Andy Dalton
Mike Zimmer & Hue Jackson are awesome
    James Harrison looks pretty good
The Oklahoma Drill is the best
    Larry Black's injury was nasty

Took one episode of basically a highlight reel show in the first week of training camp to say Harrison looks good and Eifert and Bernard are gonna be weapons?

    Hue Jackson was annoying.

Blacks injury was sad. Don't know why they ended the episode on that.

    Look at the source...

I refuse to watch the bengals, however I remember with the Jets they made it look like Vernon Gholston was turning the corner and was going to become a very good starter for the jets. So in summary: LOL at taking anything away from this show in terms of player development/potential season performance.

Yeah it's all about good tv, not good football knowledge/sources/information.

They did the Falcons game last night though...talked alittle about him, showed his TD catch.

Taylor Mays is a weird dude.

Watching Sunday's episode right now...is there a bigger douche in the entire world than James Harrison? lol I mean someone needs to drop a car on him or something

    Maybe. Vontaze Burfict.

I loved how they talked about how Geno Atkins doesn't overly impress you with his lifting or physique, but the guy is just dominant and manhandles everyone.

Anyone know what's going on with the cuss words on this show?

I'm seeing articles saying in the last CBA they don't allow players to cuss in documentaries/short films. I'm also seeing some that say they cuss during the night episode, but daytime episodes they're censored.
