Cardinals @ Reds, Game Uno
-
SportsAndLadyAlright, lets sweep the fucking Cardinals.
I shouldn't be starting this thread, because they always lose when I start them, but I am feeling it.
That being said, Reds lose 4-0, Izturis goes 0-4. -
RotinajReally looking forward to getting swept by the Cards. HOW WILL I EXPLAIN IT TO MY NIECE?!?!?!?!?!

se-alumVillareal sent down and Henry Rodriguez is called up. Hopefully he takes Izturis' AB's until Cingrani is called up.

SportsAndLadyNice to have BP back

mhs95_06Reds hitters, on average, are just not as smart as Cards hitters, or just not coached as well. Cozart should know they are going to pitch him away with 1 out and two on, and not try to pull it, and hit into a dp!
-
Midstate01The cards hitters are so fucking good. Grind and grind and make you work, then drill you. Reds hitters rarely have a gameplan at the plate. BigMac gonna be a manager before long.
-
Midstate013 straight hits to center. They're clearly seeing leake well.
-
mhs95_06Dusty looks frustrated. More so than being so with Leake, he ought to be with himself and the hitting approach he has his hitters take, that he teaches, and consider re-thinking it to more mimic that of the Cards.
-
Midstate01Wainwright will just run us over now. I'm turning this one off. Looks like a sweep is inevitable.
-
Ironman92Wainwright knows the Reds won't take a walk and will not be very patient and try to hook the ball.
The Cardinals hitters work the pitchers and pull the pull pitches and foul off the bad strikes and then hit it where it's pitched. -
Ironman92This game is blacked out for me on MLB network.....I'll assume that's why FOX Ohio is showing this is shitty definition.
-
mhs95_06Leake with a 5.4 ERA and 1.4 WHIP tonight is the best of the Reds pitchers tonight!

McGwire is the hitting coach for the Dodgers. John Mabry is the hitting coach.Midstate01;1454161 wrote:The cards hitters are so fucking good. Grind and grind and make you work, then drill you. Reds hitters rarely have a gameplan at the plate. BigMac gonna be a manager before long. -
RotinajAwesome game guys. Has anyone in the lineup not dropped like 20 points on their average over the last couple weeks??
-
SportsAndLadyNever starting a thread again

How the hell did I miss that???? Regardless he still needs to be credited -

Didn't make sense for him to go to LA other than the possibility of living there, surprised he left the Cards after a year or two.Midstate01;1454278 wrote:How the hell did I miss that???? Regardless he still needs to be credited -
