Heretic
Boras must have seen that pic of Choo laughing it up with BPhil and Votto and figured he better interject himself into things right now before Choo starts to really enjoy himself and not want to be pimped out to the highest bidder.Laley23;1446068 wrote:.. -
sherm03Choo gets the day off today. Even though I like Robinson...he's no lead off hitter right now. Might need some two-out lightning to get 3 runs in the top of the first today.
Robinson 8
Cozart 6
Votto 3
Phillips 4
Bruce 9
Frazier 5
Lutz 7
Mesoraco 2

Um, he has "8" after his name and if I remember correctly, "8" is for centerfielder. And for Dusty, CF is leadoff. Therefore, Robinson is most definitely a leadoff hitter right now.sherm03;1446123 wrote:Choo gets the day off today. Even though I like Robinson...he's no lead off hitter right now. Robinson is easily the best option leading off if Choo isn't going to play. Robinson, albeit in limited AB's, has a .455 obp. He has shown pretty good discipline at the plate as well. I actually would like to see him get the majority of the the starts in LF and bat in the 2-hole to see what he could do there. Couldn't be any worse than what we have, and it adds another speedster to the lineup.sherm03;1446123 wrote:Choo gets the day off today. Azubuike24Robinson actually has a good eye and walk/K ratio. When he plays, he should hit 1 or 2. Far better option at the top than Cozart.

Midstate01Very solid at bat from cozart
-
Midstate01Some actual good at bats from votto, phillips, bruce. Bases loaded for Frazier

wildcats20Well thankfully the lack of an exact thread title didn't phase the Red Legs.

Reds are 5-2 on my thread starts.
QQ about ".'s" -
sherm03As I said before the game...Robinson just isn't ready to lead-off right now. I realize he's probably the only choice when Choo is getting a day off, but the kid just isn't there yet.
