Redlegs @ Fish - Game 1

Lutz with a great throw to almost nail the speedster at home on the SF! Hanigan could have played that better by not reaching so far forward to catch the ball and then reach - let the ball travel in the air closer to the tag point!

I mean you face Miami, and you have to think sweep. I don't care what any of the player/coach talk is...

Bailey used 33 pitches in the 1st 2 innings, then only 70 for the next 6.

Glad he went a CGSHO. Dusty said the bullpen was gassed tonight...only J.J. Hoover was available.

    Agreed.

Bailey gets his complete game on 125 pitches, with the last AB being 10 pitches with the last pitch and one other clocked at 97 mph. There were four others in the AB at 96.

"Tony Cingrani's next start has been pushed back due to a sore pitching shoulder. The soreness is said to be minor, but with Monday's off day, the Reds want to play it safe. It's possible they could skip over his turn entirely, depending on how he recovers. This certainly won't help Cingrani's case to remain in the rotation after Johnny Cueto returns."

Ouch. It was Cingrani/Cliff Lee on Friday night too...

How many innings will the 7 inning run-less streak for the Reds offense continue into tomorrow?

Good complete game.....a ton of pitches

CB is the least talented umpire in MLB

I really like Lutz....two near misses with the outstanding throw home and the long drive that came up just short.

Damnit. This gives them the reason they needed to send him back down without getting the fans in an uproar.

I actually think that statement is bs. They reset the rotation in such a way that cuetos first scheduled start back falls on leakes day to pitch. I took more from that then them making a statement, since they obv haven't given us anything on what might happen.

Lets go Sherm!!! We need a game thread. Fuckin slacker.

Lineup teaser. Leake is pitching so it's a giveaway lineup. Oh and ss is hitting 2nd.
