Braves (Medlen) @ Reds (Bailey) - Game 34 of 162
-
wildcats20Lutz has been a pleasant surprise.
-
Azubuike24Huge K by Choooooooooooo.
That hurt. -
mhs95_06Corky nearly cuts it to 4-3, but 2' too low. Luckily Lutz got the one run in, but the regulars couldn't do any more in the 1,2 spots with a runner on 2nd.

SportsAndLadyYeah....Cozart sucks.
He needs to go -

For the love of God, at least not batting 2nd...SportsAndLady;1439778 wrote:Yeah....Cozart sucks.

Seriously, Paul and Robinson would be so much more of a fit. At least those guys have somewhat of an eye...hell, Robinson has like 7 walks already in limited PT. -

This goes for anyone but building off of this...Should they have kept Hamilton at SS and put all their baskets into re-signing Choo?SportsAndLady;1439778 wrote:Yeah....Cozart sucks.

Azubuike24No way Hamilton can play SS. He can barely play CF...
Needs lots of work defensively, despite being very athletic and quick. -
Azubuike24Cozart can take Bruce and Frazier with him too...

SportsAndLadyThis team may just not have 'it'
I'm not trying to panic, but damn they just aren't clutch AT ALL. -
mhs95_06Lead-off double squandered!
-
mhs95_06
I don't think they have been "very clutch" for the last 20 years!SportsAndLady;1439796 wrote:This team may just not have 'it'

Azubuike24The good news is, the NL has about 2 or 3 good teams. The Reds aren't playing well right now, but it's basically going to come down to just beating out the Pirates, Rockies and Diamondbacks for a spot. I wouldn't be completely sold on the Cardinals either.

Coincidently someone started managing 20 years ago and hasn't been clutch either. -
Azubuike24Seriously, what it Dusty's record in playoff series'?
Is there a more overrated/over-respected manager? -
Azubuike24If gay marriage is legalized in Ohio, Thom Brennaman might propose to Sam LeCure.
Seriously, he's all over his nuts every time he takes the mound... -

I hate Thom but I agree with his mancrush on LeCure. -

This.
He's had, what, 1 bad outing? Dude has been lights out. -

Not sure but he's been swept too much and been the manager in 3 of the 7 worst choke jobs in MLB history. -
SportsAndLadyDusty is terrible...my dream scenario is being a shade under .500 and Walt canning Dusty.
Hires a competent manager who knows how to manage this team, and they win the Central. -
sherm03I realize this team has been frustrating quite often this year. But I think people are starting to freak out over nothing.
After this game, the Reds will most likely be 18-16 through the first 34 games.
Last year, the Reds were 18-16 through the first 34 games.
Let's calm down a bit before everyone starts stepping to the ledge to jump. -
wildcats20Just had to post this.
Tweeted by the Bats' twitter account.Blazing speed of Hamilton helps him score from FIRST on a Soto single to shallow right. 6-4 #Bats. #SeeBillyRun -

Corky might not score from 3rd on that. -

The good news is...the Reds have smoked the bad teams. 12-2 vs Philly, Chicago and Miami. None of those teams will make the playoffs.sherm03;1439826 wrote:I realize this team has been frustrating quite often this year. But I think people are starting to freak out over nothing.

Losing tonight, and that marks vs PIT (0-3), vs STL (2-4), vs WAS (3-4), vs ATL (0-2). Not very promising against the teams they will be facing in the postseason, Dusty's nemesis.
