Espn to do a 30 for 30 on Cleveland fans.
-
Crimson streakI'm definitely going to watch this. All the other 30 for 30's were great, I expect the same for this one
-
Midstate01I have mixed feelings. I think itll show the absolute loyalty of cleveland fans. But its going to show all the heartbreak, which isnt enjoyable.

Yeah I know but ill watch it regardless. That's what's so great about being a Cleveland fan, when we do win that championship it's going to be the greatest thing ever. I think the entire city of Cleveland will be destroyed lol -
Commander of AwesomeIt's going to be a kick in the dick, but I'll watch.
-
like_thatThat's awesome. Have they started filming yet? They should film some Browns Backers bars in other states.
-
Crimson streakI guess some of the callers on the rizzo show today will be part of it. Speaking of browns backers... I was at the humane society last weekend here in harrisburg and I had my browns shirt on and a guy came up to me and invited me to their browns backers bar. This is why I love being a Cleveland fan lol

The one here in hawaii is packed. Worst part is its a huge bar and one half is a steelers club. But ill take some pics this year. -

We get over 150 people every Sunday at the DC backers bar. Had over 200 for a few games.Midstate01;1438053 wrote:The one here in hawaii is packed. Worst part is its a huge bar and one half is a steelers club. But ill take some pics this year. -

They tend to do a good job on these topics....but they likely won't delve too much outside of the heartbreak. It has the ability to be a very good watch. I would hope ESPN doesn't just piss off Cleveland folks, but they might. -
Laley23They wont piss of Cleveland fans, cause Cleveland fans have already lived it....over and over and over and....Nothing they can show will be surprising and piss anyone off more/again from when it happened.
It will be heartbreak-centric, but that will be what is good about it. -

They could do it wrong and piss off. ESPN is not a great like by several on here.....but I would guess that it will be well done as 30 for 30's are solid. -

I am as big of an ESPN hater as anybody, however they do a great job with these 30 for 30 documentaries. The reason being is because they don't have their typical douche bag producers making these films. They get an outside director and producer to make these films. The only thing ESPN has to do with these films is that they air them lol. So, since this guy is a diehard fan, I don't expect him cheap shot Cleveland fans like ESPN normally does.Ironman92;1438083 wrote:They tend to do a good job on these topics....but they likely won't delve too much outside of the heartbreak. Right here. MT @ESPNCleveland: ESPN looking for fans to feature in 30 for 30 about CLE fans. Contact Kris Belman - [email protected] -
IggyPride00I would assume we will see segments on:
The Drive
The Shot
The fumble
The Decision
97 World Series
Just listing off all those "The" it is sad there are so many events like that where everyone immediately knows what it is you are talking about with 2 words.
We are in many ways the Greg Norman of sports fans, except he at least did win 2 majors. Like Norman though, when Cleveland loses in the clutch it is usually spectacularly across all 3 sports, which I think is part of what makes us unique. -
Ironman92What is the decision? 95 WS?
Most on here couldn't appreciate (not the right word) these happenings.
That 97 WS was brutal....and of course the Denver losses.
You expect MJ to beat you....not near rookie Craig Counsell and Edgar -
Ironman92Lol....I leave it for the lulz.
I know what the Decision is. Lol -

Pick6Tom Reed @treed1919 Akron native Kris Belman, who did the LBJ documentary More Than a Game, will direct 30 for 30 on Cleveland sports fan.
