Reds at Cardinals - Game 2
-
mhs95_06Reds get the leadoff batter on 4 times and score but just one run. In the Cards 8 offensive innings they didn't get the leadoff batter on once, but scored 2 runs. The difference was that Holliday's RBI drive went out for a 2 run HR, and Choo's RBI drive did not, and was just a one run double.

justincredibleJust win a fucking series in St Louis. Please. Chances they win tomorrow are probably close to zero.

Doesn't look good. Lynn has been lights out this year after his first start of the year. He's got a WHIP of slightly over 1, and he struck out 10 in 6 innings last time he pitched against the Reds. Let's hope he has a blow-up game tomorrow. But with the way the Reds have been hitting, I'm thinking a no-hitter is more likely.justincredible;1436695 wrote:Just win a fucking series in St Louis. They've had 9, 11, 6 and 7 hits in their last 4. They are hitting fine, just not scoring runs. -

Yeah poor situational hitting and not good with runners in scoring position.
This isn't anything new though..this is dusty and jacoby ball. -

I meant with how streaky the offense is. They go in spurts, and are due to have several games where they are barely able to get a hit.wildcats20;1436798 wrote:They've had 9, 11, 6 and 7 hits in their last 4. They are hitting fine, just not scoring runs.
