Tribe vs. Phillies (Series Thread)
-
Laley23Coming off a 5-4 road trip, which is nice for the moment. Unfortunately, on paper, its our easiest roadie of the season so you would have liked to be a bit better. But, alas, here we are staying afloat. The offense has come to life the last 2 nights, lets hope it continues.
We will see the return of Cliff Lee on Wednesday versus our new guy Trevor Bauer. Im looking forward to that match-up the most. -
HitsRus^^^I'll be looking forward to seeing the wednesday game in person...but let's not forget about tomorrow.

BRFGo Tribe!

HitsRusMichel Bourn is elgible to come off the DL today, but it looks like he'll take a rehab assignment first. Even that, may be still a few days away.
-
royal_kTwo young guns against two old guns....who comes out on top?
-
Fab4RunnerMight head up for the game tomorrow. Will be my first since opening day, plus the house I live in doesn't get STO. I have been missing out.
Go Tribe! -
Tiger2003Doc gives up two 2 run bombs in the first inning. 4-0 Tribe.
-
Laley23Mark Reynolds was oppo as well. I am so glad he is on our team. Unfortunately, it might be 2 years too late. But yeah...thats for a different day
-
vball10setWho the fuck are these guys in the Wahoo uni's?????

iclfan2Santana is playing fantastic right now. I believe he is currently leading the AL in batting average. And what a signing Reynolds has been. Hopefully he can be consistent all year, but his production so far has been a pleasant surprise
-
Laley23
Santana is probably top 3 in MVP right now, though I havent looked at league wide stats. I know Miguel Cabrera has to be leading though.iclfan2;1436474 wrote:Santana is playing fantastic right now. Reynolds is exactly what I imagined, power wise. I never thought he would be near .300 this late in the year. I expected a max of .250 (.220-.250)...which he will still likely end the year around. But I fully expected him to hit 30+ HRs this season. His lack of Ks has also been a nice surprise. -
royal_kThe offense is back!
3 two run bombs. This is fun to watch! -
royal_kMake that 4 two run bombs! 10-1 Tribe
-
royal_kLOL 5 two run bombs...12-1
-
Laley23This is ridiculous.

This is what they are capable of. Too many good hitters to contunue down the pth they were on.Laley23;1436502 wrote:This is ridiculous. -
iclfan2Apparently we can only score in pairs!! Mcallister looks good too. Really wish I'd have gone to the game tonight. It was awesome weather today. Oh well, perks of living within sight of the Jake will provide me with as many chances to go games as I want. Hopefully the want lasts past June this year...

Really? You expected 8 homers by April 30 on a pace to hit 50+?Laley23;1436486 wrote:

You are awesome, as is he. -
Laley23
Well, not necessarily. But at some point he will go in a slump. Im saying the power isnt surprising, at all. Anyone who has followed him the last 5 years knows he mashes for long stretches. Unfortunately, he usually Ks 4 times as often and doesnt hit for average.BRF;1436515 wrote:Really? You expected 8 homers by April 30 on a pace to hit 50+?

Im saying I expected 30+. Not necessarily a large chunk coming so soon, but I am not entirely surprised either.
EDIT: Ive also had him on my fantasy team 4/6 years hes been in the league lol -
