The last 5 teams to win the Cup: Detroit, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Boston and L.A. Kings. The last 5 teams left in the playoffs.

There is a difference between being injured and hurt. Based on the fact you tried to make yourself look tougher than Derek rose by saying you played a round of golf with a cut hand, I'm going to assume you were just "hurt" during that period of time you played lacrosse.

    That's actually pretty cool.

San Jose just can't seem to make it to the finals. Awesome talent, but they always fall short.

Pulling for Detroit tonight, but I don't see them winning a game seven in Chicago. I'm pretty glad both western series went to seven games so boston can get healthy for pittsburgh, gonna be a great series. I think Boston will either win in 6 or lose in 7. I don't see them closing out this series on the road.

I thought the same thing, because fuck that place, but I would assume it is because with Boston potentially being in the finals, he would want them to play the lowest seeded team possible. Chicago is def the best team in the west.

I went to school with Jimmy Howard. Kinda hard not to cheer for a guy you saw around campus and would go watch most weekends.

This - If Detroit wins Boston would have home ice in the finals. But it's more that I like Howard.

Anyone else see this save? All Pavelski had to do was get a little air under the puck. Quick with the game saver.

Game 1 between Boston and Pittsburgh is Saturday at 8pm. I would love to see Thornton beat the shit out of Matt Cooke.
