Cavs pitch Shutout in OT

  • Footwedge
I wonder if that has ever been done before. Cavs win 117-104...as Big Z nails 3 trifecters in OT.

LeBron with the triple double (34-16-10), and Mo with 27 as well. LeBron played shutdown D on Evans in both the 4th quarter and overtime. Windhorst said on his Twitter that the 2000 Grizzlies were the last team to get shutout in overtime. Have to give it to the Kings, they played well, a fun game to watch.

The Kings were 10-3 at home, so this wasn't a cake walk.

LeBron with an unreal game at 34/16/10.. His 2nd time hitting those type of numbers, which I think matches 3 other players including Charles Barkely..

    Amazing.

Ahhh I love Z SO MUCH.

^^Great night for the Zman. Love to see him get it going.

Not that amazing when you consider he played 44 minutes and took 30 shots to get those numbers.
And I guess everyone is back in love with Z again until the next game that is.

How many times has Kobe shot 40 just to get 25?

14/30 is just alittle under Kobe's FG average anyways. Bash it all you want but 34/16/10 is just crazy and then he shows everyone why he is one of the best defenders in the league by switching onto Evans in the 4th and OT. Before LeBron he had 26 points, when LeBron switches to him 1/8 for 2 points.

I cant believe you people still make cavs threads!!! I thought we decided the season was over after game one?!?!!?!?!?!?!?

Are you talking about Evans the "Rookie" who had no problem driving right past Lebron to send the game into OT???????

One hoop, keep trying to talk shit.

1/8 after LeBron goes to guard him
    0 points in overtime
    34/16/10 scary good.

Oh wait, LeBron is only 24 lol. Its only going to get better, thats the scary part. There is nothing that you can say that proves to me that Kobe is the best "player". I'll state it right now that the Lakers are the best team with the best HC in the league, but the best overall player resides in Cleveland and will stay there for his whole career.

That's all fine, you are correct he has more team oriented awards because the Lakers are a better team as a whole.

LeBron vs. Kobe is LeBron even at age 24. It won't be close soon.

At age 24! Honestly, the guy isn't even fully in his prime.

LMAO, Skyhook, this is a great example of why you have zero credibility--in case you needed another example. To call LeBron's performance "not that amazing" is beyond stupidity.

So he took 30 shots, he made 14 of them.

And your boy Kobe has taken 30+ shots 86 times in his career. Most ever was 47. He was 17/47 (0-8 from 3) in 46 minutes for 41 points. And they lost. LeBron's team won this game, and you're critical of shooting nearly 50% on 30 shots when your boy once had a game with more FGAs than minutes played and fewer points than both.

Oh and by the way, 12 of the times that Kobe shot more than 30 times in the game he was held under 30 points. LeBron has never scored less than 30 when taking that many shots.

Thanks for trying to troll and making the argument for LeBron stronger.

Cavs now 2-1 in this brutal 7 game stretch. I predicted a 2-5 record. Hopefully, I will be proven wayyyy wrong. That's the kind of crow I love to eat.

What I liked the most about last night's game....the Cavs "locked down" and only allowed 6 points over the final 9 minutes. True, LeBron was the main cat...but not the only one.

That was a trademark of last year's record setting team. And last night was a thing of beauty to watch.

    Merry Christmas Cav fans.

    1 game? Really?

I'd say go take a statistics class but you're too busy sniffing Kobe's jock.
