Anyone catch the Trout-Alvarez fight? It wasn't bad, certainly could have been better, but a big win for Alvarez. He keeps being touted as the next great one, well he's getting close
  • Mulva
Didn't watch, heard the judges were questionable at best.

Yeah it was a pretty even fight, yet the judges called it as a total blowout in favor of Alvarez. It was honestly kind of a boring fight

Only one judge was way off (118-109....no way it was that lopsided). It was a good fight and I had it close. Didn't have a problem with 2 of the scorecards. Both fighters showed me something last night. That is the most impressed that I've been by Alvarez. It will be interesting to see who Canelo fights next. Will it be Mayweather?

I thought it was a good close fight. I didn't like the open scoring. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch, Somewhere other then San Antonio.
Has anybody been watching all access? What's your take on that Mayweather Guerrera fight?
  • Classyposter58
I think Guerrero has a solid shot tonight to pull off a major upset
  • Azubuike24
    Round 1 should be Guerrero's.
  • Azubuike24
    As should round 2...
  • Azubuike24
    Even after 4?
  • Azubuike24
    PBF starting to take over...

Jab, jab, circle, occasional straight right.
  • Azubuike24
When he wants to be, he's almost impossible to hit.
  • robj55
    Guerrero not returning fire

Boring fight, Floyd controlled but never for one second pursued a finish.

You could write this about 90% of his fights...

Yeah he is brilliant, but most of the time coasts once he gets a big lead, put on a show for the fans, they are making you a shit ton of money!

Well he said he hurt his hand midway thru. I can't blame the guy, he won rounds 3 thru 10, why take dumb risks

So he hurts his hand in every fight? For being hurt, he was still throwing it quite a bit in the latter rounds as well. FLoyd is all about that paycheck, making it to that next fight healthy so he can bleed fans of their hard earned money.

The fight in September should be Mayweather-Alvarez.

EDIT: @danrafaelespn: Floyd doesn't have a mark on him. Says he'll be back in ring Sept. 14. #boxing #MayDay

@stevecarprj: Mayweather or no Mayweather, Golden Boy CEO Richard Schaefer said there will be a card at MGM on Sept. 14 with @caneloOficial on card

I feel like Alvarez vs Mayweather could be really boring. Canelo goes for the knockout every single time, won't land much on Floyd

You can't take advantage of the willing.

The story hit the news, social media, etc. last night......Floyd Mayweather vs. Canelo Avarez at the MGM Grand on Sept. 14th. HUGE fight. Not as big as the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight would've been had it happened before Manny's losses to Bradley and JMM, but this is the fight in boxing right now and it's actually gonna happen. Catch-weight at 152 lbs and no rehydration limit.

I can't wait. I can't believe Floyd made some concessions. Gimme Canelo in this one.

You willing to bet on that? I wouldn't.
