Thoughts?
I think its a decent article. And not just because Lebron edges out Kobe. I like most of what he says and I think the main thing is he says yes Kobe has rings, but TODAY, Lebron edges him out as the better all around player.
EDIT: Didn't realize it was an insider article. sorry! -
sleeperYawn, Lebron is better and I don't need ESPN to tell me that.

Skyhook79Who the Hell is David Thorpe and why should I care what he thinks when a picture says a 1000 words
Are there any pictures of Lebron holding a Championship and an Finals MVP trophy in each hand????????? -
sleeper^ I've already said he's the greatest role player to ever play the game.

Sporting News ran, what is perhaps the best Kobe vs. LeBron analysis I have ever read, in a full, two page, in depth critique of each players game. It was a virtual standoff, with Kobe winning by a sliver in the 'intangibles' category.
IMO it is another case of comparing apples to oranges. Both are great players, who bring different styles to the floor.
Kinda like comparing the Maserati to the Ferrari. -
hangonsloopyTotally agree sportsfix.

Chauncey Billups has a finals MVP and a championship (both of which he won over Kobe head to head). Is he better than Kobe?Skyhook79 wrote: Who the Hell is David Thorpe and why should I care what he thinks when a picture says a 1000 words

SQ_CraziesKobe has a long way to go if he wants to catch Robert Horry's greatness.
