5th highest rushing total of all time. Doesnt get NFL player of the week.
  • bigdaddy2003
    They played the Chiefs.

Shouldnt matter. The same Chiefs did beat Pitts a few weeks earlier.

Nor is anyone else. This was about NFL Player of the Week.

Ha I was just adding that in because of all of the high praise of him in the other thread.

Who got player of the week?
  • charliehustle14
I don't know but I'd guess it was Big Ben.

Big Ben...............who to his credit threw for 505 yds and 3 or 4 TD's
  • bigdaddy2003
    He would certainly deserve it.
  • Nate
Any other week and Jerome probably would have won it. Unfortunately, Big Ben went crazy also. I still would have to give it to Harrison though.

I just don't put that much stock in 286 rushing yards against the Chiefs. I thought I heard somewhere that they are 31st against the rush.

Very true but 10 more yards and we're talking a record. Would it be still less than Ben's day?

Ben threw a game winning pass to beat the Packers so that ranks his day higher in the grand scheme of things.

Maybe the Chiefs defense sucks. Why arent RB's from all over the league going for 250 against them then?
  • bigdaddy2003
He is definitely good and played very well on Sunday.
  • wes_mantooth
Great stats, but Ben's are very good too......Ben will always win since he is the household name.

Exactly. How many other players had those numbers??
  • bigdaddy2003
Yeah, he had an amazing day.
  • september63
Ben probably goes for 500 again this weekend. 4 more TD's. LOL
  • bigdaddy2003
Lol not happening this weekend. Division rivalry and the Ravens are making their playoff push.

Atleast Harrisons numbers werent against someone as bad as the Seahawks?
  • Al Capone
    Ben deserved it hands down.
I am glad Harrison broke one of Jim Browns records though. One less record for that lame brain.
