2013 NFL Draft

Couldn't find a thread on this, and it's a big enough topic to warrant it's own thread.

I'll start it off by posting this link that I wish they would have had last year, to show us how Weeden would have stacked up.

    Some interesting takeaways:

EJ Manuel with the 5th best performance last season according to this metric with Geno Smith and Landry Jones 10-11.

Wish the Browns had a 2nd to get EJ, reminds me of Kapernick and would be in a similar situation. But we don't.

Mark it down now I bet he goes to the eagles in either the 2 nd or 3rd

There's no doubt he's going in the 2nd at the latest. I could even see last 1st.

Can I just ask you all this? What does anyone see in Manti Te'o? Discard the fake girlfriend stuff, the only truly fast team he played all year made him look stupid. The guy is slow and his 40 shows that, plus he's small. No way he makes it in the NFL

I agree he sucks and is not a good player. He'll drop pretty far down the draft but I could see him being a 3rd rounder. My buddy works for the Seahawks in their personnel department and says that most GMs have him late 2nd early 3rd. Keep in mind, most GMs had Tebow as a 3rd or 4th rounder and he went in the first round(and the coach/GM was promptly fired for being morons).

Wasn't totally dumb drafting Tebow. Denver made so much money off his merchandise. Tebow at least did it on a big level all the time in college. Te'o was a microchasm of Notre Dame football, nowhere to be seen in big games

And two tenths of a second faster than Burfict and Spikes, who seem to be doing alright. Classy is probably right, tho...

40 times don't mean shit. I don't think Tao will make it in the nfl....but I hate draft stock falling because of a 40 time

Working for the Seahawks is for poor people.

I'm guessing he'll be around for a few years. Maybe end up on a practice squad. He seems fairly smart so that may get him a year or two.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not, but after all of this that has come out about Te'o...you still think he's fairly smart?

Matt Williamson ‏@WilliamsonNFL Watch Alex get "Kaepernicked" by Geno again next year lol #Chiefs

I honestly don't think Teo will be very good in the NFL but speed isn't really why. I don't think he's gonna be able to drop and cover and basically he may be another Malaluga.

    Jarvis Jones ran a 4.92 40 yesterday.
