To me, it wasn't any of the pushing that was the problem, it looked like he held and pulled on the jersey...and that is all calledSonofanump;1381373 wrote:I disagree, neither the initial push with the right hand nor the extension of the left forearm is enough to call offensive pass interference. -

My head isn't up my ass chief. I'm just not a douche who claims to know what happened when I wasn't there to see it happen. Like I said before if he's truly a bad person than he's Daniel Day Lewis' equal and deserves to win an award for best actor. I realize you're a Browns' fan and hate every team that is better than the Browns' but you have your head so far up your ass that you wouldn't believe he was innocent even if a video came out showing he was innocent.Tiernan;1381248 wrote:Big Daddy 2003 sez "...I don't know what to think"...in regards to Killer Ray.
just like another few million Rats fans with their heads so far up their ass they can't put two and two together. Black eye for the NFL all around last night...power outage, replacement level officiating and another Thugger who killed two people will be in the HOF. Maybe Lewis and OJ will get their own special display in Canton. -
AutomatikI stopped watching immediately after the clock ran out. I can't handle anymore of Ray Lewis' act. It makes me ill.
I was pulling for the Niners, but I will give credit when it's due. Major hats off to Joey Flacco. I used to clown on him a lot, but I'm now eating eating crow. -

I would love to have a player like Ray on my team....seems like he would be a great teammate. With that being said, I think he is shady as fuck and comes off as an over the top phony with all the jesus talk.Automatik;1381413 wrote:I stopped watching immediately after the clock ran out. Don't feel bad. I haven't been totally sold on Flacco myself. I knew he had the cannon, made a lot of solid throws that his receivers just didn't grab, but I just thought he didn't have the "it factor." He really impressed me in the playoffs. I mean if you told someone before the season that he would have 11 touchdowns to 0 picks and be the Super Bowl mvp they would laugh at you.Automatik;1381413 wrote:I stopped watching immediately after the clock ran out. I am waiting to see if he will gain mass confidence and build onto his playoff success, or will he be like Eli and throw 40000 ints next season. I am hopping it is the latter.Automatik;1381413 wrote:I stopped watching immediately after the clock ran out. I can't handle anymore of Ray Lewis' act. It makes me ill.

thavoiceI think that the playoff and SB run has me sold on Flacco. Up until then I wasnt but man he made throw after throw after throw come the postseason. He def has earned his big contract he will sign this offseason.
As a steelers fan I am glad he had a monster game as it will get him a bigger deal and take up more of their cap going forward -
bigdaddy2003Reps to the Browns' fans who are above believing the game was rigged. Wghfan, you need help. You've made some of the dumbest posts I've read on this site since it's inception during football season.

wes_mantoothAs for Flacco, he always has a terrible game to derail their playoff runs....not the case this year. He was just about as good as you could possibly be all through the playoffs. He probably turned the corner and will be in the convo for being a top 5 guy in the league...sadly.

Yea, I definitely get the "Traveling Tent Revival Preacher" vibe from Lewis. I can't believe anything that comes out of his mouth.wes_mantooth;1381416 wrote:I would love to have a player like Ray on my team....seems like he would be a great teammate. I am doing fine, and do not need any help. You need to relax and not take things so serious, on a public forum site that means nothing. BTW, I am not a Browns fan. Even if the game was rigged, why would you care. Your team won the game. Enjoybigdaddy2003;1381431 wrote:Reps to the Browns' fans who are above believing the game was rigged. Wghfan, you need help. shook_17I didn't read through all the pages and I don't plan too either. But, as a Browns fan all I can say is WOW. Joe Flacco was simply amazing last night. He has played lights out in the post season and was clutch last night.
I did turn the TV off after the game last night so I didn't have to listen about how the NFL and ESPN will portray Ray Lewis as a role model. That is a complete joke. He is a great football player no doubt, but great role model? Fuck that, I'd rather my kid look up to Lebron James over this tool. -

But we don't know for sure that he murdered anyone.shook_17;1381546 wrote:Fuck that, I'd rather my kid look up to Lebron James over this tool. -
queencitybuckeyeI'd be curious why the league would rig things so that the team from the #26 TV market would even be in the game, much less be given the win.

BoatShoesAs much respect you have to give the Niners for closing the gap. The last couple of play calls reall blew it.
1. They have to waste the time out because of the potential for the delay of game when they had a Quarterback run called and it looked like there might have been some running room.
2. After the time out they go under center when they were barely under center at any point in the game. Also, the flat pass is a hard pass to hit from that 3 step drop from under center...especially if you've been in the gun the whole time.
3. On the 4th down they had to know that Baltimore was going to run Cover 0...just like they did on the 2 point conversion. Holding or no holding there should be been a better call in place or at least a slide protection that would've left a DE run free instead of a middle blitzer so that Kaepernick might had a chance to break contain.
I ended up pulling for the Niners pretty hard being a Browns fan and it's just unfortunate they had to end such a good come back with some pretty poor execution in the last 3-4 plays. -

Right, and I'm not talking just about that. I'm talking about the possiblitly of PED's and having 6 children with 4 different women, And maybe the actions of that night.dlazz;1381553 wrote:But we don't know for sure that he murdered anyone. -

The game had higher ratings than last year's Super Bowl with the Boston and NY markets. Obviously people cared.queencitybuckeye;1381554 wrote:I'd be curious why the league would rig things so that the team from the #26 TV market would even be in the game, much less be given the win. -

I'm not trying to take what you say seriously but it's hard to know if someone is joking on the internet without smiley faces. I guess a person takes more pride in knowing his/her team was the better team on a given night therefore knowing if it was rigged there would be less to be happy about.wghfan;1381529 wrote:I am doing fine, and do not need any help. There were a ton of people on my Facebook who I know to be Browns' fans who were complaining of a rigged game. There was a also one Colts' fan who put on his Facebook wall that it must be nice to be best friends with the commissioner. Implying that Goodell rigged the game for the Ravens to win because Goodell asked Ray Lewis to be one of his advisers.Pick6;1381574 wrote:Why is everybody saying the game is rigged a Browns fan? -
TiernanGoodell asked Killer Ray to be one of his advisors? I hadn't heard that. What in the name of Hell could a 3yr college drop-out who attended the "U" in the first place possibly be able to advise a law school grad from Washington & Jefferson on? ...which blade to use in a knife fight? ...how to beat yo Ho widout leavin marks? how to score drugs like in the Wire? how to pimp out a Caddy? or my favorite...how to wear a doo rag properly? When Lewis is in jail in less than 6 mos. I will be dancin' & crowin' like a mofo on crack.

reclegend22"He [Ravens corner Jimmy Smith] got away with one. He got away with one." -Six-time Pro Bowl cornerback Eric Allen
The debate is not whether there was in fact a penalty. The debate is whether or not it should have been called with a minute to go in the Super Bowl, and it should have. Anybody who disagrees with that either is a Ravens fan, a contrarian or had money on the game. -
SonofanumpYeah, I think I'll go with Mike Pereira's (amongst other current and former supervisors) opinion and philosophy and continue to call that play as I have been for years. You can not award a foul to someone who has fouled himself.

I've already tried to lay this on other people and they say "of course he's going to stick up for his fellow refs."
