    I'm so shocked.

I tried to bump the older thread, but it was closed. I'm not sure why.

Dude is the biggest fraud in American sports.
  • Automatik
    But butttt.........because cancer!
  • wildcats20
A very, very small part of me thinks that maybe his PR people have told him to just go ahead and admit it(guity or not) just to get it over with.
  • Commander of Awesome
Just glad the guy finally admitted. Legit have a friend that still defends him. Should put an end to that nonsense.

I think he just wants to get the massive weight off of his shoulder and be done with. Just like McGuire.

Finally. Not like we didnt all already know.

Worst part is for him, since I think EVERYONE in cycling was doping at the time/still is, he wouldve still been the best all those years without it...possibly.

Had to happen. Certainly going on Oprah was an orchestrated move too, softballs and alligator tears to follow.

Kind of like the baseball situation, except I don't think AS many people were doping in baseball as there were in cycling.

What Lance did regardless of doping is still nothing short of amazing.

    Heaps of other evidence

To save himself or to save the O network?

And he has lost millions of dollars since being stripped of his titles. Paying back his winnings, lost endorsements, appearance fees, etc. Maybe he hopes to gain back some credibility and endorsements?

If he admits, can anyone (endorsements he's been paid by) come back and sue him? I heard something about that, but just caught the tail end of it.

Kind of my point. No one will remember cause he is a lying, cheating POS. But what he did is still remarkable and thats a shame.

Sad to hear. Looked up to him growing up. I still wanted to believe he was always clean, guess I was naive.

I would give my left nut (pun intended) to do this interview.

    1. Before you say everyone in the racing community is tainted, tell us why you continued to declare your innocence at the expense of a multi-million dollar cancer fighting organization? Didn't you considered the long-term damage that would be done to the Livestrong foundation while you continued the dog and pony show?

Who cares? I mean... really. Who cares?

That's my gripe with this entire situation. I don't even care that he doped, but his "nose in the air attitude" whenever it was brought up irked me.

He did a lot of good things in his life and that's great. He's still a lying fraud in my book.

Everyone that had anything to do with LA made heaps of money off his back and he owes them nothing. THe sports world is sitting around praising a guy that got away with murder (Ray Lewis) and we care about this????
Go to Google.com and look it up about him losing money. Not hard to find if you want to. You don't need a link to know that he's lost millions of dollars by the endorsements that dropped him alone. That's common sense.

As for the lawsuits, why would I have a link to a question????

I don't care if he doped, he had cancer so I'll let it slide

He's going to be on Dr. Phil Friday to admit that was fake too.
