NFL Playoffs: Cincinnati Bengals ( 10 - 6 ) @ Houston Texans ( 12 - 4 )

Repeat game from last year... Just hoping for a completely different result.

Houston has struggled the entire month of December while the Bengals are 7-1 in their last 8 games. Defense is the key to this game... At least contain Foster & get to Schaub 4-5 times & if the offense finds themselves again things could go Cincy's way

I wish I could root for Cincy, but it makes me smile to see them lose.

I guess we'll see how momentum compares to home field advantage.

Bengals by a FG or Houston by 16

    I'll watch.

Bengals are 4 1/2 Point Underdogs

Houston has been terrible lately. They(Houston) should win by 14 but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bengals win by a fg.

Texans are ice cold and we've had some decent momentum going. Offense will need to step up their game a little though

JJ has a monster game. Andre Johnson goes for 145. Arian Foster scores twice. Texans 24 Bengals 21 on a Shayne Graham FG as time expires.

I think the bengals should win this one.

Unless they pull a bengal move.

Listening a little bit to WLW sports talk last night and to hear most of the callers complain about the team made me laugh.

You made the FN playoffs, be happy instead about it and enjoy it.

    Geesh.

Heart says bengals by a td

    Head says Houston by 10

Vegas has Bengals at 40:1 odds.....next worst are Vikings at 30:1

    Chip firmly placed on shoulder.

If the Bengals pull out a victory here, it will be a huge hurrdle jumped by the franchise. Not since Paul Brown was in charge has it happened. It seems like Mike Brown is slowly letting loose of the reigns and as he does the Bengals win more a draft better.

Reds and Bengals in the playoffs the same year. What a year!

You won't be happy if the Bengals are up 2 TD and nearing the 4th quarter....and go on to lose......similar in how the Reds exited the postseason, only at home.

I don't get people having the Bengals so low. I mean odds are against them, but the make up of their team is really similar to what the Giants were when they won their titles. Andy Dalton isn't Eli Manning, but the strength of the team is the d-line. If they can keep consistent pressure, they can advance.

Texans have played like garbage lately, but they are the better team. Houston 27-17

I really thought that this was houston's year, but they shit down their leg....can't see them going into NE and winning

Schaub and Foster have carved up the Bengals in the past. If we can get pressure and not get too up field as Foster is a pass catching machine we should be able to contain them better and limit the longer explosive plays. I don't see why we can't knock Schaub around and make him hurry his throws. Owen Daniels and Houston tight ends will be the key for the Bengals to contain.
We also need BJGE who is hurt right now but looks like he will play to run more effectively and open the middle up. I'd like to see some reverses and some other mis direction plays to AJ or Binns or Hawkins to get them off balance.
I think the stripes get off the schneid with all the momentum and a hellacious defense 23-20.

Just the low expectations from not winning a playoff game in so long...and not in the lifetime of probably a number of people on here.

This is a diff team from last year in winning 7 or 8 and haved played better on the road. I project a bengals win

Getting kinda hype for this game.... Also, Idk if I should be excited or nervous w/ all of the positive things that the ESPN & NFL Network analysts are saying about the Bengals, especially their defense... Just not use to it I guess lol
  • Ironman92
Going to have to watch this around 8:30 at night.....many Bengals fans so it'll be nearly impossible not to hear but hoping I can.

I looked into the Bengals Defense for the Regular season... They only allowed 1 WR to have a 100yd Receiving Game this year (Chargers WR Danario Alexander, his only one of the season), They were the only team to not allow a Opening Drive TD, Led the NFL with 51 Sacks & the D has scored a TD in 3-Straight Games...

If the Offense can contain JJ Watt & score in the lower to mid 20's I really think the Bengals can pull this off... Please Marvin, don't screw this up
  • bigdaddy2003
This is tough. I say Texans by 3 to 7 but I wouldn't be shocked if they lost.
  • Azubuike24
I'm actually getting more and more excited as the game approaches. It's difficult not to picture a negative outcome, as this is the Bengals. Really fighting it.
  • mhs95_06
Both teams 3 and out on their first possession, Bengals gain on the exchange.
  • like_that
Pretty legit that the whole left side of the Texans line made the pro bowl.
  • Speedofsand
Bengals TE 84 made a sled drill out of the LB on G-E's run

    Texans doing what they want
