Not to be picky but its called Father Time not Mother.Footwedge wrote:
Then we agree to disagree. I posted the preview from the NBA clearly showing that his numbers have tanked big time. It's a shame that Z has slipped a little as well.LTrain23 wrote: Footwedge, I guarantee you won't be calling Shaq garbage in April. The plan all along was to get Shaq limited minutes so he'd be fresh as possible in the postseason.
I can't stand when people just bitch about certain players. Nobody was bitching when we got him, but now that he's not averaging 20/10, everybody goes into panic mode.
LOOK AT THE FUCKING ORLANDO GAME! Hell, even the Boston game, for instance.. He finally gave us a legit inside presence that KG and Perkins had to pay attention too. In fact, not only was Howard in foul trouble all game, but I believe Perkins was too.
Stop being so damn quick to jump off a players bandwagon. Could you imagine Z as our everyday starting center? I couldn't.. Not now..
We need a legit 4. That's it.
Shaq was the most dominant player in the NBA for about 10 years. He is a shadow of what he once was.
It's not his fault...it's called mother time. Phoenix unloaded Shaq because they tanked with him in the line up.
Tonight's game...no Shaq in crunch time to stop Stoudamyer...Brown knows what's going on. -
devil1197Shaq was brought here to help in the postseason against teams like Orlando, Boston, LA etc. If you think it was to dominate in the regular season you are a fucking idiot, sorry for cursing but jesus.
-
SQ_CraziesYeah, it's getting pretty old. Not sure why people thought we'd get 20 and 10 from Shaq every night--or even 10 and 10 really. The regular season is literally just a warm up for the old man, it's not why he's in Wine and Gold.

I'm entitled to my opinion, douchebag..if you don't like it...then move along.SQ_Crazies wrote: Why is anyone even attempting to argue with Footwedge? He's Phil Jackson, don't you know? -
devil1197You can have an opinion, but most if not all Cavs followers understand why Shaq was brought here it wasn't fucking rocket science.
Just look at who they have lost too. Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Washington, Charlotte, Memphis, Houston, Dallas (1-1). They have 3 losses against teams with .500 record. So what if they are losing to scrub teams thats not who Shaq was brought in to beat. Its the big teams. -
SQ_CraziesYou need to realize what an opinion is and that your opinion CAN be wrong.

Feel better now? I never called you a fucking idiot. Why don't you take up your bitch with the NBA guru that posted Shaq's shit numbers to date, instead of railing on me?devil1197 wrote: Shaq was brought here to help in the postseason against teams like Orlando, Boston, LA etc. If you think it was to dominate in the regular season you are a fucking idiot, sorry for cursing but jesus.
And LTrain...not "everyone" was in management's corner in picking up Shaq. Management "knee-jerked" after losing to Orlando.
It was a fluke, an upset, that Oralando beat the Cavs...Nothing more, nothing less. Stuff happens.
This team is not as good this year as opposed to last year's team. And it doesn't matter if we're talking reg. season or playoffs. -

No shit brainchild. Look in the mirror once in awhile.SQ_Crazies wrote: You need to realize what an opinion is and that your opinion CAN be wrong. -

Says who? You? -
devil1197Who cares about shit numbers, don't come on here stating shit about Shaq because those numbers mean absolutely nothing right now, NOTHING.
Shaq was brought in to play against the quality teams. He shut down Howard and played good against Boston in the first game of the year.
If you do not realize that then you need to go back and read up. We all know why Shaq was brought here, don't try to say it isn't true. No one is backing you on this one right now sorry. -
Footwedge^^^ Yeah who cares about shit numbers. LMAO. And there are plenty of Cav fans that are disappointed in O'Neal's numbers, including the head coach who refuses to use him in 4th quarters now.

devil1197
LMAO, prove to me why we should care about regular season numbers right now against bad teams? Like I said, Cleveland has lost 5 of their 8 games against sub .500 teams. How did Shaq fair against his only matchup so far with Orlando who we will probably see in the playoffs? Instead of looking at how he did against crappy teams, why don't you focus on the teams we will face in the EC playoffs.Footwedge wrote: ^^^ Yeah who cares about shit numbers. LMAO. Including our HC who hasn't had a set rotation since the beginning of the year? You cannot gain any information from Brown's rotations at all, they are too irregular.
You can go on believing that Shaq was mean't to help Cleveland in the regular season against scrub teams. The truth is, and many know, that Shaq will be fresh and rested for 7 game series against Orlando or Boston come playoff time. He has played well against both teams already early in the year. Come talk to me when Howard is on the bench with foul trouble about Shaq's shit numbers in the playoffs. -
SQ_CraziesLOL, stop even trying to explain it to him. He's a mental midget and actually thought Shaq was going to come in and put up 20 and 10--and even worse, seems to have expected him to.
-
devil1197He wasn't even going to get enough touches for 20 ppg lol. He is here for 10+ ppg and solid defense down low + getting guys in foul trouble.
