Week 14: Dallas Cowboys ( 6 - 6 ) @ Cincinnati Bengals ( 7 - 5 )
-
osu45804Bengals are 3 point favorites...
Carlos Dunlap got AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance vs San Diego, when he is healthy along side Geno Atkins I really like this Bengals Defense. Defense needs to take Romo out of the game early & hopfully The Lawfirm can top 100 yards for the 4th Straight Game. AJ Green will break out of his 2 game Non-TD Streak as well... Dan "Boom" Herron has been put on the active roster w/ Peerman hurt. -
Ironman92The winner remains well into the playoff race....the loser will not make the playoffs.
Bengals 26-20
Or
Cowboys 34-17 -
bigdaddy2003This is a tough one. Dallas weirdly plays better on the road but I could see the O line collapsing thus making it a long day for Romo. I'll say Bengals by 3.
-
gerb131Bengals win this one. 27-23
-
osu45804Mike Nugent out w/ a calf injury, Bengals sign Kicker Josh Brown who beat out Neil Rackers & Billy Cundiff during a Tuesday workout

gerb131I'd like to have seen Rackers but what do I know.
-
bigdaddy2003It seems like Brown is a pretty decent kicker.
-
IliketurtlesWould have been funny for them to pick Cundiff... just another former Cowboy the Bengals could have added.
gerb I would have preferred Rackers as well.
As for this game I'll take the Cowboys to win 30-24 -
Azubuike24Anyone EXCEPT Cundiff...

Rackers was my choice because he's kicked in the Nati several times. Looks like a rainy Sunday...WHO DEY -
osu45804Bengals Defense has only allowed 2 TD's (1 Rush, 1 Pass) in the last 4 games (4-0) -- Stop/Contain Dez Bryant & I believe Cincinnati makes it 5-Straight Wins
-
Ironman92Bad spot
-
osu45804Baby Hawk... that boy fast! Bengals gashed the Cowboys w/ big plays on their 1st drive
-
Pick6nice pick by carr
-
wildcats20Carr with the pick and a nice nice lob to Witten.
That's not a catch for Miles -
Azubuike24The facemask on Dunlap was BS. How many times do they blow that play dead when the QB is clearly not getting out of the grasp of the sacker? That play is blown dead 90% of the time to AVOID the second defender getting a clear shot at the QB. This time, they don't blow it and then call a penalty on the secondary defender.
It was the correct call in that he DID grasp the facemask, but all I'd ask is from now on, never blow that dead and allow free shots on a stopped QB all day.
Bengals outplaying Dallas and only up 3. Not liking this one at all... -

OK, not a face mask, it was a late hit then.Azubuike24;1339089 wrote:The facemask on Dunlap was BS. wildcats20Oh and they did blow it dead before he took the shot on Romo.
-
Azubuike24It's the right call, that he DID grasp the facemask. However, if it's properly blown dead, there's a chance the second defender doesn't even pursue as aggressively.
On the other hand, if they just let the play finish (as they should), it would've been a penalty, but it would allow the defense to be a lot more aggressive against the QB.
Just one of those plays that shows how protected the QB's are...no biggie. -

Azubuike24Not early enough. It was 2 seconds of completely stopped progress before a whistle. Once Johnson grabbed him, it should've been stopped there. Otherwise, let it go until he's completely on the ground.
-
jordo212000Claiborne will probably thank his teammate later on. Guy came in and drilled him even though Charles was headed out of bounds
-
jordo212000Ryan is so undisciplined. Case in point for why he isn't a head coach
-
wildcats20So the player is allowed to run his mouth to the bench but the coach can't react? Lol.
-
wildcats20Hate that rule too.
If you're forced out, which he was, not should be able to be the first to touch it.
