Week 13: Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore Ravens
-
bigdaddy2003I thought I heard Ben, Antonio Brown, and Polamalu all had a pretty good chance of playing so I figured it was worthy of a thread.
Who wins? -
killer_ewokIf all 3 of those guys play....I think the Steelers win. If Ben plays and is mostly healthy...I still think the Steelers can pull it off. Otherwise, Ravens win.
-
Raw Dawgin' itNo Ben = No win
-
BR1986FBI'll still go with Baltimore, at home, even if all four (including Decastro) are healthy for Pittsburgh.
-
bigdaddy2003A few of my friends who are Steelers' fans think the Ravens winning in the style they did Sunday will provide a loss against the Steelers but I say the Ravens pull it out mostly because they play pretty well at home. I'm going to say by 3 or so.

Did you watch the first one?wes_mantooth;1330322 wrote:agreed. Baltimore is the more talented team
What's the deal on Ben? I've seen conflicting reports regarding his status? -

I don't think Baltimore is all that talented. I just think there will be some rust and if Roethlisberger gets knocked around a few times?wes_mantooth;1330322 wrote:agreed. Baltimore is the more talented team -

I think when Baltimore and more specifically Flacco plays well...they may be the best team in the NFL. They are very hit or miss thoughAutomatik;1330327 wrote:Did you watch the first one?

Big reach there, imo. New England would eat them alive. Baltimore is completely Jekyl & Hyde. Even playing their best I don't think they are as good as New England or a healthy Houston.wes_mantooth;1330333 wrote:I think when Baltimore and more specifically Flacco plays well...they may be the best team in the NFL. I agree about Houston...they are the other one i think of. And it looks like NE is unstoppable right now.BR1986FB;1330336 wrote:Big reach there, imo. New England would eat them alive. I've been saying for awhile that the loss of Cushing will probably be Houston's downfall. Their backups are nowhere near as good in space as him. New England looks beast-like.wes_mantooth;1330338 wrote:I agree about Houston...they are the other one i think of. And it looks like NE is unstoppable right now. -
Heretic
Since he's gone down, they've been more of a "win a shootout" team than a "beat the other team" one. They win, but it's 34-31 OT games now. Which pretty much puts them in a situation where if the offense isn't ON, they're in trouble.BR1986FB;1330349 wrote:I've been saying for awhile that the loss of Cushing will probably be Houston's downfall. Precisely. "Shutdown" defenses aren't getting lit up by Chad Henne.Heretic;1330367 wrote:Since he's gone down, they've been more of a "win a shootout" team than a "beat the other team" one. "Shutdown", "living", "non-imaginary"....They all fit in this case.BR1986FB;1330394 wrote:Precisely. "Shutdown" defenses aren't getting lit up by Chad Henne. -
Commander of AwesomeI expect the Ravens to do what the Browns coudln't and put pressure on the QB with the back up tackles. Ravens win.

Is this from my post on another thread? Lol -
Ironman92Holding out for Ben and Brown in games 13-16.
The playoffs start next week....unless the Chargers beat the Bengals...then the playoffs start the following week. -

Ha I remember your post but nope. I've heard things on ESPN and read tweets.Ironman92;1330691 wrote:Is this from my post on another thread? Lol -
PrescottSteelers should hold out all players who are still healing. They have little chance of defeating the Ravens at home. Take the loss and load up for the last 4 games.

BR1986FB
That would be the intelligent thing to do.Prescott;1331175 wrote:Steelers should hold out all players who are still healing. They have little chance of defeating the Ravens at home. Take the loss and load up for the last 4 games. -

killer_ewokTroy and AB are playing so that is obviously a plus. No Ben and Woodley and that really hurts. Hopefully Kelvin Beachum doesn't get absolutely abused. Legursky will play C and Pouncey will be at LG. Need solid special teams and no more than two turnovers by the offense to have a chance.
Keep an eye on James Harrison. Seems to finally be 100% or damn near it. -
killer_ewok3-0 Steelers early.
-
Ironman92Ike Taylor out.
