Cleveland Browns at Oakland Raiders

dazedconfusedits not every day that you see both teams out of timeouts with 3 and a half minutes to go in the game. kudos on that one, shurmur

Dr. KnOiTaLLFlacco seems to be getting Batch'd

SportsAndLadyLOL
That was awesome..clock still runs lol -
MulvaRaiders honestly have the worst 2 minute offense I've ever seen. Everything is 5 yards and over the middle of the field.
-
KR1245That 94 yard drive to put it away was perfect, I didnt think there was anyway that the Browns would be able to do that

Well it was about time they did do it..it's not like Oakland's D has been COMPLETELY awful latelyKR1245;1335062 wrote:That 94 yard drive to put it away was perfect, I didnt think there was anyway that the Browns would be able to do that

Browns defense is solid and Raiders are reeling. This game will decide draft position....Raiders will draft before Browns
Browns 23
Raiders 20
Sorry, close again....but at least you won!
Did COA attend this and break his streak? -
RotinajBrowns on their way to a pick out of the top 10.......

Yeah probably they are 10th right now... I don't see it getting any higher than 12th though.Rotinaj;1335102 wrote:Browns on their way to a pick out of the top 10....... -

We could easily win 3 of the next 4.Iliketurtles;1335112 wrote:Yeah probably they are 10th right now... I don't see it getting any higher than 12th though.
I think they will win against KC next week as easy as a Browns team can win.
Then I think they lose against the Skins.
Then I could easily see them winning against Denver and Pittsburgh depending on the playoff situation as neither team may have much to play for in the weeks we play them.
Denver could by week 16 be locked into home field for a wild card home game, which could see Peyton Manning's playing time cut down some to get ready for the playoffs.
Pittsburgh could also have a wild card wrapped up for week 17 as they own the tie-breaker with Cincy right now, and the rest of the conference is 2 games behind both of them (cincy/pitts). Lord knows they would be resting any and everyone if the game meant nothing.
Shurmur is getting alot of "fools gold" wins right now against teams that are terribly beat up, or that in a few weeks will have nothing to play for when the Browns come to town.
6-10 is likely, but I actually think there is an outside shot at 7-9 if the circumstances I laid out earlier come to pass. -

I agree with parts of this...but do not underestimate KC. -
MulvaI think they'll finish 2-2 and go 6-10. Still not enough improvement to save anyone's jobs.

EnforcerWhen was the last time the Browns won 3 in a row?

i'd imagine you have to go back to that 4 game winning streak to close out the season in eric mangini's first seasonEnforcer;1335237 wrote:When was the last time the Browns won 3 in a row? -

4 straight in 2009. Also had a 4-2 stretch in 2010.Enforcer;1335237 wrote:When was the last time the Browns won 3 in a row?
If the Browns schedule was reversed, I don't think the record would be too much different. Seeing the performances against 3rd string Pittsburgh and Oakland, this team doesn't really look like it's improved any to me. -

Decent point...but a counter would be the 9-2 Ravens at home couldn't beat Pittsburgh with their 3rd string QB....and hell we lost at Oakland with our 1st team QB.
Football is funny....enjoy your streak, no matter how it happened. -
Commander of AwesomeWell boys, the streak is over. Finally saw a win in person. I sat 10 rows back from the field behind the browns bench. It was awesome. I told Hodges to get her leg out of his ass, might help his punting, and told patty boy to start using TRich when he got all pass happy. Passing on 3rd and 1 was pissing me off.
Overall great win, that's a horrible shitty stadium, and Raiders fans are awesome. I was told Browns suck and fuck the browns by 6 yr olds. Fans are passionate and they don't deserve that shit they have to watch. -
GOONx19It's hard to believe the Browns could still be the 5 seed. I've been messing around with the playoff machine, and if we won out, we'd pretty much be in as long as the Steelers and Bengals both only win one more.

that's a big IF isn't it? still... pisses me off thinking about the games we should have won this year and didn't. But hey, we "battled"GOONx19;1335340 wrote:It's hard to believe the Browns could still be the 5 seed. GOONx19Yeah, of course every circumstance is extremely unlikely. I think it shows the lack of many real good teams in the AFC, though. Hopefully that continues over the next two years and the Browns can take advantage.

Al Bundy
Even all of that would only put them at the 6 seed. Considering the Bengals and Steelers still play a game head-to-head, that makes it even more unlikely. Plus, the Browns would still need to pass up all of the teams still ahead of them in the east and Buffalo owns the tie-breaker over the Bills. Basically, you have a better chance of winning the lotto.GOONx19;1335340 wrote:It's hard to believe the Browns could still be the 5 seed. GOONx19Wouldn't necessarily have to pass them. An 8-8 Browns would get in if the Bills, Dolphins, Bengals, Steelers and Jets all finished 8-8. I obviously don't think the Browns have ANY chance of making the playoffs. I just like to mess around with ESPN's playoff machine every year around this time.
EDIT: The Browns as the 5th seed would happen if Colts and Titans both finished 8-8 lol -
like_thatIf the Browns won 2 of the following games:
Ravens (x2)
Colts
Cowboys
Eagles
We would seriously be talking about a potential playoff spot.
