Cincinnati Bengals vs New York Football Giants. In-Game thread.

I personally think the blind squirrel will find an acorn and win this fooseball game 42-39. Eli will actually throw a pick on the Gints last drive to Crocker.

I'll be there so mark it down as a Bengals loss. Hopefully Victor Cruz makes the Bengals DBs his bitches.

    Bengals up 14-0 very early
  • osu45804
Adam Jones has a 70 Yard Punt Return to set up the 2nd TD, Bengals force a punt & the genius that Marvin Lewis is puts Brandon "Butterfingers" Tate back to return & he fumbles the punt... Defense holds NY to a FG at least
  • osu45804
Marvin Lewis trying to out think himself again, taking 3 points off the board by going for it on 4th down... smh
  • osu45804
Bengals doing WORK.... Up 31 - 6 in the 3rd Quarter
  • wes_mantooth
Man, the Giants and especially..Eli...look like shit.
  • osu45804
Bengals played Prevent Offense the entire 4th Quarter w/ great field position... Marvin is wuss

    Eli got Who Dey'd.
  • osu45804
These are the kinda wins that keep Marvin Lewis around, winning the games that he shouldn't & next week vs the Chiefs actually scares me more now
  • like_that
Looks like the Bengals will just do enough to keep Marvin.

Didn't watch today, pleasantly surprised they played so well. Good for them. Needed that one.
Still think the Miami and Cleveland losses ended all playoff hopes. .500 may be possible with games vs. KC Oakland left.

Listened on the radio. WHO DEY
    Red Rifle is goood.
Still not throwing in the playoff towel yet. SD/KC/OAK/PHI all winnable.

There will be at least 1 sucky AFC playoff team.....keep hope! I am.

The Bengals can win every game on their schedule except at Pittsburgh, IMO.

They could also go 2-5 and finish with a top 10 pick.

The problem is, the 4 division winners are running away with it. That leaves 2 wild card teams, 1 which is probably Pittsburgh. So, while the Bengals could finish 9-7 or 10-6, they also have to beat out either Pittsburgh or Indianapolis. It makes the game at Pittsburgh almost a must win...given that the Colts have a somewhat weak schedule left and should easily win 9. We'll see.

Who would have thought before the season that the Colts should get to 9 wins?...a legitimate franchise qb makes such a huge difference

No joke. Even playing Houston twice and at New England, the Colts still have home vs Buffalo, Tennessee and at Kansas City and Detroit. I think they find a way to go 10-6, which would make it very difficult for the Bengals unless they manage to win at Pittsburgh. Lose at Pittsburgh, it's over given the tiebreaker.

There is still a lot of time left.....hard to predict. Rarely can you predict out everything at this point in the season.....something screwy will occur.

I had them for 6. I just didn't know how much Luck could do. He is so good.

Would rank this game right up there with demolition of Bears in 2009. No reason for such a commanding win, the stars align for one game to give Bengals fans hope.

Will be interesting to see if they can put it together against the NFL's worst team the Chiefs. -107 in points column going in to tonight with the Steelers. Figure it will get much worse.
