dazedconfusedit's fun to have the cavs back. kyrie and varejao were studs tonight. dion with a solid debut as well. about what i predicted from the second unit...hot garbage. that's going to be an issue for this season

SportsAndLadyHopefully the front office doesn't try to improve the depth THIS YEAR. I don't want to turn into the hawks and be "pretty good" every year. Id rather they get another top 5 pick THEN start to build depth.
It does have to be pretty tempting though if you're in charge of this team right now. They could easily be a playoffs team this year with some added depth to their second 5. -

I agree to an extent. If waiters turns into the player I think he will, then kyrie and him will be enough to get us to top 5 team as long as there surrounded by good role players. Kyrie is definitely a superstar in the making. I do think another top 5 player (sf) would make this team legit. But our bench is terrible. -
Pick6would you guys rather have another legitimate starter or a few bench players to add depth?
Im leaning towards depth. One because, we have players that shouldnt be in the league playing meaningful minutes, and two, Im not throwing Gee under the bus for one bad game. He showed us what he could do last year.
Really wondering what the FO plans to do with Andy, and what I should want them to do with him. Picks or players? -

A legit starter. Our bench depth isn't nonexistent, it's just unfortunately in the starting lineup right now. We do need a backup pg, but I could roll with a bench of zeller, tt, gee, and miles.Pick6;1309111 wrote:would you guys rather have another legitimate starter or a few bench players to add depth?

Tt is a starter. I like boobie off the bench. He's a very good spot up shooter. -

the problem is actually relying on boobie - who has never been able to stay healthy.Crimson streak;1309137 wrote:Tt is a starter. I like boobie off the bench. He's a very good spot up shooter.
also give me a legit starter -

TT is a starter and Zeller would be a starter when getting rid of Andy.Mulva;1309133 wrote:A legit starter. Our bench depth isn't nonexistent, it's just unfortunately in the starting lineup right now. We do need a backup pg, but I could roll with a bench of zeller, tt, gee, and miles.
Gee plays the 3, Miles would play 2 off the bench, putting our best (yikes) bench player either at point or not playing at all. Point isnt where Boobie is most effective. -

I would prefer adding a center with the ability to score, sliding varejao to pf, and bringing tt off the bench.Crimson streak;1309137 wrote:Tt is a starter. I like boobie off the bench. He's a very good spot up shooter.
I wouldn't complain about adding a 3 with star potential though. -
Crimson streakI actually like our starters outside of gee. Zeller will be that center that can score once he gets stronger. We really need a 3. Once we get a 3 that can score the ball and create we should be a very very good team
