Just look at the source of that comment.

Ok...Houston, Baltimore, New England & either San Diego or Denver. Take 4 of those teams. Who will the other two be? I can see two coming out of the West. The South & East blow except for the top two teams. That leaves a second team from the North unless you think 3 get in from the West.

This is 100% false. Not saying Haden is as good as Revis but take a look at what he does to top receivers.
  • BR1986FB
Haden has faced AJ Green twice, shutting him down the first time and getting torched the second. The first time was AJ Green's first game as a pro.

I'm not counting the TD Green caught in that first outing because that was a coaching fuckup on a quick snap (not Haden getting burnt).

I don't think Haden will shut down Green but I doubt he goes off either. I'm more concerned with Cincy's #2 & #3 guys torching us with Skrine & Sheldon Brown covering them.

    This!

Browns are a bad matchup for the bengals. The bengals are headed to 8-8 again unless Pittsburgh falls apart. I think Green will take advantage of Haden being rusty and go for 80 and a td on 6 catches. Is Jackson going to be able to go for the browns. Ill say the Bengals win 21-17.

BTW the Bengals defense has improved since getting Carlos Dunlap completely healthy.

Just having a little fun. The Bengals have cleaned up their act as of late though

Agreed. I don't even know who Cincy's other receivers are....but they will probably have huge games against Skrine and Brown

Binns, Hawkins, Tate, etc...not really names you use in the same sentence as 'huge games'
These teams always play each other so close. Perhaps Dalton has a bounce back game from his disaster this past Sunday, but I think the Browns get the first win of the season this weekend.

The bengals are absolutely horrible and they suck so bad but they have some nice pieces though

I do agree that the Bengals have some "nice pieces" Dalton isn't that bad, and AJ is really good. D isn't terrible either. I would much rather be in the Bengals situation right now than the Browns, and I'm a Browns fan. If the Browns can get a coach who knows what they're doing out there with T Rich, Weeden, and our WRs, they could be decent in another year or two with some upgrades on D and the OL. Therefore, the Bengals are in a better situation with their team all around. And their no name WRs, besides AJ, made the Browns secondary look like fools last time around, so that says something about the Browns' DBs, although Haden should help a little more on Sunday.
  • sportchampps
Sua what you want but binns and Hawkins have being doing good for the bengals
  • BR1986FB
Yeah, Hawkins has been a stud. He worries me more than Green in this game.

Not quite, you are pretty damn predictable.

    Bengals 27
    Browns 13

Only chance for the Browns is if Jordan Norwood has a huge day and TR rushes for over 100 yards.

    (edit)
I also predict Shurmur is fired after another ugly loss to the Bengals.

    Norwood is hurt..... Go figure

oops. So much for expecting him to have a good day.

    Found this-

According to FOX 8 Sports in Cleveland, WR Jordan Norwood has a sprained foot and is in a walking boot.
Browns coach Pat Shurmur was very coy when asked about Norwood on Wednesday, refusing to even acknowledge that his slot receiver is injured. If this report turns out true, Norwood is facing a multi-week absence. Oct. 10 - 1:07 pm et

That doesn't help the home team.

    Thanks for the Oldnews.com report.

Didn't realize it was already posted.

    Thanks.

"Shurmur" and "coy" should never be used in the same sentence.

Sounds like rookies Billy Winn & John Hughes will get the start at DT for the Browns this week. Rubin missed practice yesterday and there's a good chance he sits.

Heard a stat on Sirius XM this morning that Green-Ellis has gone over 350 carries without breaking a run over 20 yards. Even with those Patriots O-Lines this stat seems ridiculous.
