Week 3: New England Patriots @ Baltimore Ravens
-
bigdaddy2003The Patriots (1-1) travel to Baltimore to play the Ravens (1-1). The Patriots lost a close one at home to the Cardinals while the Ravens lost a close one in Philadelphia.
Who do you have winning this game? -
killer_ewokRavens in what should be a helluva game.
-
Ironman92Ravens by 10+
-
BR1986FBYeah, I'm taking the Rats too. The Hoodie needs to suck up his pride and start using Welker more. This "I'm gonna prove a point and show you Julian Edelman is just as good" stuff isn't going to win them games.

Ironman92Patriots playing with heavy hearts could be a bit of a factor...either way.

Ravens Smith lost his brother yesterday in a motorcycle accident. Heavy hearts for the Ravens as well. -

And he pretty much raised his younger brother....he looked very young. -

He told Harbaugh he still wants to play tonight. Harbaugh told him it was his call.Ironman92;1278154 wrote:And he pretty much raised his younger brother....he looked very young. -
Azubuike24I dislike both teams, but this has been an intense game. Win or lose, both are going to be forces. Outside of Houston, nobody else in the AFC looks in their league. Defensively, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Denver have issues. The Jets have major offensive issues.
-
Pick6these refs are a fucking joke, both ways.
-
Ironman92Always call it so they can't get a practice kick!!!
The practice more than negates the potential nerves. -
Ironman92Lol....horrible snap, just got it in
-
Ironman92NFL is worth 20 gazillion dollars and we landed on the moon 40+ years ago...but we can't make the FG posts high enough. Lol

You sure about that? -

No. The rule book needs to be changed. And the need a camera that is pointed straight up on each goal post. -
Pick6It was good anyways
-
bigdaddy2003Wow what a game. Quite an effort by Torrey Smith considering the circumstances.

And a microchip in the football to detect when it passes the plane of the goal line (see Roethlisberger "TD" vs Seattle in the SB).bases_loaded;1278912 wrote:FIFY -
Raw Dawgin' itAnother week another choke...smh.

ThePatriotBad calls. Bad, bad, bad. With a nine point lead the Ravens had a 2nd and fourteen and they called hold on McCourty. Probably the biggest call of the game IMO and the most glaring mistake by the officials. That call probably lost the game for the Patriots.

I always thought this myself. What the hell would be so hard about installing 2 chips or something on each side of the football, and then add sensors up and down the sidelines or something. It wouldn't be that expensive, and you can accurately spot the ball on every single play. -
bigdaddy2003There were bad calls on both teams. I believe there were two on McCourty. I thought one was valid and one was phantom. There was a call on Ngata that was just ridiculous. Brady took off running and Ngata was literally his shadow and then Brady slid and Ngata hit him. Those calls are horrible. What is a defender supposed to do if they are chasing a runner like that?
