Spoken like a true OC'er...I have nose bleed tickets for Saturday. I was trying to ask you via FB if you were going, but my phone wasn't cooperating. Now I see it's safe to go.

So, if the season were over right now, who would the Reds play? I'm hoping they play the Dodgers, mostly b/c my B-I-L is a Dodgers fan, but other than that, no reason.

The Giants, but the Reds and Nats both have 90 wins, the Nats just have one less loss.

I'd like to see the Reds start out the NLDS in Atl, then host Was to start the NLCS

Cubs score 2 in the 9th w/ 2 outs & a run in the 11th to beat the Cardinals 5-4

    Magic Number = 1

Downtown will be nuts tonight if they clinch. I can't wait.

Need to get some hits first.

LA LF costs them a run to tie it.

    X. Paul doesn't get a fair shake from the ump in the 6th with the bases loaded and 2 out as he is called out on strikes on a pitch that was off the plate outside!

Setting up for Jay Bruce to hit another walk-off clincher?

Exactly what I just told my buddy. Setting up perfectly.
  • Terry_Tate
Bruce then Stubbsy. This one is over.
  • mhs95_06
And a walk-off could also help them take over the edge in home field advantage through-out as a Braun single has tied it at 2 in Washington! And now Ramirez has doubled in Braun after a SB and the Nats are behind going to the bottom of the 9th.
  • Azubuike24
That was a brutal pitch to swing at for Stubbs...
  • mhs95_06
Bellasario sure looks like he throws a "heavy" ball! He finishes his two perfect innings with 5 Ks, 4 of the 5 swinging!
  • mhs95_06
Votto forgot to consider the speed of the runner on the bunt and the Reds get no one when the Dodgers are trying to give them an out!
  • mhs95_06
Kemp is tough! LeCure was snake bit in the probable game losing defensive half inning!
  • mhs95_06
If they would have taken the out on the bunt, Marshall wouldn't have had to face Kemp - blowing away Ethier would have been the end of the inning!

Or maybe even it might have been over before even getting to Marshall facing Ethier.
  • mhs95_06
I guess Joe West is not ready to go home! He gives Heisey a walk on pitches that were in the zone compared to giving the pitchers strikes all night on pitches that were off the plate!
  • mhs95_06
Maybe tomorrow! But by then they may have lost the chance to do it on their own field, and if so will lose their edge if StL loses and they could fall 1.5 behind in the fight for home field advantage through-out.
  • mhs95_06
Reds position players in 10 innings had no RBI and could only muster the same number of hits that just Kemp himself had in the game.
