Week 2: Cleveland Browns @ Cincinnati Bengals

When you are missing your top secondary defender, that is bound to happen. I saw the pass rush though. They have been getting a lot more pressure these past 2 games than they did all of last year imo, and this is without Phil playing. The difference with this game is Dalton had much more quicker passes, because 1. our DBs seemed to play about 20 yards off their WR every play, and 2. they were absolutely god awful and just made it easy.BR1986FB;1272982 wrote:Told ya the offense would be better and the defense is NOWHERE as good as they played last week (takeaways). And where was last weeks' pass rush? -

Defense still isn't that good. Got gashed by the Eagles last week and picked apart by Dalton, who is a mediocre QB, this week. God help us if Fitzpatrick hits CJ Spiller on a couple of swing passes next week.like_that;1272994 wrote:When you are missing your top secondary defender, that is bound to happen. Midstate01Did little say something on twitter, then delete it. Just saw his I don't care what the fans think tweet. But don't know what he'd be responding too.

I was asking myself this today. He has pretty much disappeared. It's one thing to not be able to beat elite/athletic LT's in the league but when you're having issues with RT's? Not good. This new regimes "wishlist" this offseason should be a corner and a pass rushing DE, at a minimum.Mulva;1272920 wrote:Is Jabaal Sheard playing this year?
Sure it was mentioned but Weeden's performance today was a Browns franchise record for a rookie (numbers-wise). -
BR1986FB
People were giving him shit about his TD dance.Midstate01;1273026 wrote:Did little say something on twitter, then delete it. Just saw his I don't care what the fans think tweet. But don't know what he'd be responding too. -
Midstate01Oh I didn't see the game today. What'd he do?
-
BR1986FB
His dance was pretty goofy but with as often as our WR's get in the end zone, people shouldn't be giving him crap about it. Young guy just happy to get 6 points. Hopefully today's performance gives these guys the confidence to build off it.Midstate01;1273034 wrote:Oh I didn't see the game today. What'd he do?
Off topic but when will we see Travis Benjamin or someone else on kickoff returns? Cribbs looks slow as Hell. -
OQBI think it's time to cut ties with Cribbs...

LOL at any Browns fan QQing about our WRs dancing in the endzone. How often do we even get the chance to see one of our WRs in the endzone?BR1986FB;1273040 wrote:His dance was pretty goofy but with as often as our WR's get in the end zone, people shouldn't be giving him crap about it. As for Cribbs, he lost a step about 3 seasons ago. I can see him not being in a Browns uniform after this season. -

It was a dumb dance, but who gives a fuck? It hurt absolutely nothing. People need to shut the fuck upBR1986FB;1273040 wrote:His dance was pretty goofy but with as often as our WR's get in the end zone, people shouldn't be giving him crap about it. like_thatJust curious, I don't like complaining about the refs, because that is all what Steelers fans do and they look like dipshits, but can anybody explain to me how Peko wasn't flagged for throwing Weeden's shoe? That is a delay of game penalty at the very least.

I was wondering about that as well, but I figured there's no penalty in the rule book for throwing a shoe from a player on the other team. Smart play by Peko I guess, lol. -

Definitely not a specific "throwing shoe" rule lol, but like I said that has to be a delay of game at the very least.Terry_Tate;1273065 wrote:I was wondering about that as well, but I figured there's no penalty in the rule book for throwing a shoe from a player on the other team. Amen. Not going anywhere as long as this continues.
But for today, a win is a win. Gotta beat the bad teams -

Yeah, I suppose equipment issues like that don't have a penalty. A helmet is probably delay of game or unsportsmanlike or something, but a shoe or towel is probably just like "hey, tie your shoe better dumbass" lol. -

That no call was the difference in the game. -

Lol couldn't end it at a win is a win. Had to add throw a shot at the browns.jordo212000;1273070 wrote:Amen. Not going anywhere as long as this continues.

I can't really say what I (or anyone) would like to say without getting an infraction, but you can't be surprised by his post. Nothing but a little weasel instigator, who then cries that he didn't do anything.Rotinaj;1273105 wrote:Lol couldn't end it at a win is a win. Had to add throw a shot at the browns. -

But really...who cares, we know his act so just ignore and move on. -
Commander of AwesomeAnd he wonders why he's hated on this forum.
About today's game, Richardson looked so much better running without having to wait for slow ass Maeric. If Special Teams didn't shit the bed, the Browns would have pulled this one out. -
wes_mantoothThere is absolutely no reason that Marecic is on this team. I don't get it at all....he is not an NFL caliber player. He can't block, run or catch.
-
Commander of AwesomeSpecial Team demon?

wes_mantoothI would be surprised if he doesn't trip over the 50 yard line
