AVALANCHE should be able to skate away with this one with another win.
  • Blitzkrieg
This is a critical road trip. Columbus is a mere 2 pts from the bottom of the Western Conference.
Colorado (44 pts) Phoenix (44 pts) Dallas (39 pts) and Detroit (41 pts).
Detroit holds the 8th spot and is already 6 pts ahead of CBJ.
They just cant afford to have any more separation.
The CBJ have lost 13 of 15. They've lost 5 in a row.

Well, if nothing goes right in the next week or so I suppose I'm throwing the towel in on this season. Its sad how different this team looks compared to last season.
  • pkebker
The season started off pretty good, but has just gone south fast. If we can turn it around quickly, then the season can still be salvaged.
  • BlueDevil11
Finally a GDT for the Jackets.
The way they are playing though, it was not worth the time to make it.
  • BlueDevil11
    Colorado 3
    Columbus 0
    15:15 left in the first.
  • BlueDevil11
Mason gave up 3 goals in 4:15, and then was replaced by Garon who has given up 1 already.
    Colorado 4
    Columbus 0
8:20 left in the first period.

Glad I broke out the Colorado jersey for this one.
  • BlueDevil11
Jackets on the board with a power play goal by Umberger.
Colorado has a 4-1 lead with 16:00 left in the second period.
  • BlueDevil11
    Chimera with a goal.
Colorado now leads 4-2 with 5:00 left in the second period.
  • pkebker
yikes what a disaster. I just don't understand what Mason's deal is this year...
  • osudarby08
ok....Its over this year. Maybe if I stop paying attention they will start winning more.
  • pkebker
Maybe we'll get a high draft pick...a Defenseman
  • End of Line
^^^^^^The upcoming draft is very deep. I've tried to figure out what is wrong with this team and I can't figure it out. Perhaps it it time for Hitch to leave. It isn't the dead puck era anymore. This team needs a more up-tempo system, and not a defensive one.
  • gerb131
Why does he continue to throw Mase under the bus? What good does it do? Maybe 1 of the 4 he allowed he would like to have back.
Our D is 2 steps slower than last year and we hesistate so bad on passes they get picked off easily. Not a good team at all. Maybe the move to Winnipeg is on their minds?
  • End of Line
This team is not moving to Winnipeg. If there is a team that's going to move there, it's gonna be Phoenix and they'll become the jets again :D
