Reds vs Phillies....Game 2

  • Ironman92
Due to win! We don't lose back to back!

Fun stats.....of every player in the NL with the pace for plate appearances to be considered for title decided by percentages ( batting, OB, Slug, OPS)....Drew Stubbs is dead last in OB% and Zack Cozart is next to last. Stubbs is also dead last in OPS.

Thank God they aren't asked to set the table for the big hitters!

But but but you don't fix what isn't broken!!!! Wait, them being fucking terrible is something being broken? Better not say that out loud!!!

Don't criticize Dusty. Don't you do it. Pointing out how stupid and illogical the top of the order means you are not a Reds fan

I'm sure to make it an extra awesome season well get swept by the cards in the NLCS and they'll win another WS.

This feels like a game Heisey gets a complimentary start.

    I feel like we're in a win-win here.

Either the Reds win it all and the city gets a WS title. Or they blow it and we get rid of Dusty.
  • Rotinaj
Reds lose. Stubbs goes 0-5 w 3 Ks.

It is typical for play-off team representatives to respond when asked what the keys are to winning play-off series saying that a big key will be to keep the opponents table setters off base. I wonder how Reds play-off opponents will respond to that question.

Probably by saying to just have the pitchers throw strikes because reds table setters can't get on no matter what.

Valdez is batting 2nd .227 OB% and Stubbs is leading off.

Dusty has to be doing this as a joke these days.
  • se-alum
Also, Todd Frazier wins at life in general.

  • Rotinaj
It's funny that the pitcher has a better chance of getting on base than your shitty lead off batter.
  • mhs95_06
Good start by Latos with the first 3 retired on 12 pitches. Keys were the long drive by Rollins on a FB in the middle of the plate stayed in the park, and the beautiful 3-2 slider to K Fransen, who has been tough on the Reds.
  • mhs95_06
Kendrick got squeezed pretty good on the Stubbs AB, a walk!
  • mhs95_06
Phillies going to have to get 5 outs this inning.
  • mhs95_06
That's a gold glove play by Bruce to end the 2nd, an inning where Latos was squeezed also.
  • Rotinaj
    Son of a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111
  • mhs95_06
Latos' baserunning robs BP of an RBI chance when there was no compelling reason for Latos to be taking a risky lead!
  • Midstate01
    Was he out?
